I might give the original Highlander a chance if I like the new one, only the original. I watched parts of HL2 after a fun looking trailer, got bored

The annoying thing is that he did kinda sell it. It's completely dumb and nonsensical but he was charming enough to sell it.

I was never a big fan of Christopher Lambert as an actor (I did like him in Mortal Kombat though. Sue me), so they can top that casting. No American pretty boys for the lead please. It just feels wrong to cast a Ryan Reynolds type in the role.

Well Said. That's why him dropping the project was good news. I like him as an actor when he is allowed to act but he is wrong for Highlander. An actor like him is wrong for the project.
