They're foreshadowing Ragnar's death pretty hard. Misdirection, or is he finally going to have a date with [BLACKOUT]a pit full of snakes?[/BLACKOUT]

The majestic beard is gone, guys. :(

Pic was taken at the Sundance Film Festival just recently.

Maybe Ragnar has to shave his beard this season for some reason.

He looks like Channing Tatum in that picture but I'm known to find resemblance where there is none.

No Ragnar would pretty much make me break up with this show. :(

I think that's Dianne Doan. She's playing a Chinese character named Yidu who is a captured slave.

I've read around that they got her from Paris, which in turn got her from the slave markets in the east connecting to the Red Sea.

Maybe Ragnar bites the dust on mid-season finale. :(

Just watched the first episode of this. I really, really liked it.

That's great! For a lot of people it took a few episodes to finally have the show win over them.

Good start for the season, going be a bloody one too

Good start, looking forward to more.

Oh yeah, the premiere was great. The best parts were Kalf turning on Einar and Rollo surveying the destruction he was raining down on the Vikings like a boss. It's interesting that he essentially chose the French over his own people even though he doesn't seem particularly happy in France.

It's kind of sad how Ragnar and Auslaug despise one another now. Auslaug clearly believes the Seer's prophecy refers to her, but I wonder if it'll be Lagertha who runs Kattegat in the future.

Bjoern leaving will be interesting. I assume we'll be following his adventures. At least, I hope so.

Lots of potentially interesting political intrigue has been set up. *Rubs hands together in anticipation*

I'm rooting for Lagartha because I've never much liked Auslaug. :(

I'm also glad to see Ivar the Boneless as such a fierce and happy boy, wonder will they age these kids up further next season or something. :p
