I'd love for you to prove me wrong then. Perhaps you'd like to enlighten me on the first thing that pops up into a guy's head when they hear Alba.

You roll your eyes at me, yet that still doesn't change the fact that no one recognizes Alba more of an actress, than her looks. They may still like her as an actress, that's fine, but I doubt you'll find anyone here (besides you) that finds it standing out more than her appearance.

Same reason why we went through crap like N*Sync, Jessica Simpson, Paul Walker movies, and current Frank Miller books: because they SELL. I thought that was quite obvious.

well to be honest i'm not one to believe stuff from a source saying from a source saying from well...another source. 5 years ago...maybe

meh i don't hate tomkat( i ****ing hate that word) tom cruise is a great actor, nice guy, and i love his films. and katie is pretty ok, i strongly dislike dawson's creek but she was pretty good in abandon .....that movie was kind of crappy though. the thing with celebs is that they tend to mingle their personal lives with their work lives...that is a huge no no. because then fans can't really tell the two apart and it really hurts their images acting wise.

besides katie has been in talks with her agency to start working again, so i don't think she's interested in the eye anyways.

Wasn't Jessica Alba on that supposed "list" of actress contacts that Tom Cruise was going through before he got to Katie? I remember that story about his attempt to get Scarlett Johanssen to go to a Scientology dinner with him and she turned him down. If Alba was on the "potential faux-girlfriend" list, and Katie Holmes knows it, I can see where she'd get a bit jumpy about Cruise wanting Alba to costar with him now.

(BANG) - Katie Holmes is reportedly angry with fiancé Tom Cruise for casting Jessica Alba in his new movie.
The former 'Dawson's Creek' star is said to feel uneasy about Tom spending long hours in the company of screen beauty Jessica while filming 'The Eye'.
Katie is allegedly feeling "upset" and "isolated" after the 'Top Gun' actor overlooked her for the leading female role.
A source told Britain's Grazia magazine: "Katie is feeling unsettled. She is not happy that Tom has cast Jessica in 'The Eye'. He is escorting her around Los Angeles, introducing her to the big movers and shakers, the people who have not even noticed Katie yet."

All i gotta say is grow up holmes. just cause your gonna get married to him and had his kid means he gotta put you in his films. seems to be the reason she got involved cause she thought it would boost her career.
