Thanks. I mean, I like Batman as much as the next guy, but when he's involved in a fight between beings with insurmountable strength and power (Mongul in the case that my sig is quoted from), he should be smart enough to know that he doesn't stand a chance. And that's where calling in the heavy hitters to fight the threat for him comes in.

I mean, recently Bats tried to take on the Atomic Skull, and Amazo on another occasion (both guys were watered down significantly in their appearances so that they wouldn't kill Batman instantly - plot convenience/bad writing). Did Batman actually expect to win either of those fights?
