i honestly don't know why dc consistently have better moments of suspense than marvel....urgh, the difference is just untold off....

dc can certainly write some good stories....

The story arc "Blitz" with the return of Zoom in Flash has certainly a bunch of "Holy Sh**" moments.

I remember reading it, I was just "WHOA" and I think Identity Crisis has "few" good moments.

Ummmm did you totally just forget about the 60s and 80s when making that remark....Marvel probably has more if not the same amount of suspensful moments and great storylines as DC. In fact Marvel was copied for years by others because their stories were just that good.

at first glance (and i know i don't know what decade a lot of the arcs come from) but they seem to mostly come from late 80s onwards, not that many from the 60s.

and not really that many described that made me go WTF except for the obvious ones but even they have become a lil cliche i suppose, which may actually be proving shadow's point....

Two things about that,

1) WTF does it matter when these moments occured? A holy s**t moment is a holy s**t moment. Weather it occured 40 years ago, or it happened just yesterday.

2) Not a lot of people on the Hype were around back then reading comics. With the exception of a few, most of us aren't very far out of our teens. So, when choosing a moment, you go with what you know. ANd if you're young, you're gonna pick something that you actually read when it came out. which is probally somewhere around the 80's on to the 90's and beyond.

I mean, the same can be said about this thread as well. I don't see too many moments pulled from the pages of Superman #12 or anything in this thread. The oldest thing in this thread is from like, what? early 80's? To sum up, you Mr. Rain, are being a troll. Nobody likes a fanboy.

besides, time was brought up on shadowboxing account on behalf of marvel as a reference point and i was merely speculating that the majority of things posted in the marvel thread didn't come from the 60 (small percentage from 80s i think).

I don't kniw where this idea of trolling has come from, i haven't said a bad word about this thread.
