Homeland producers re-team for FX's "Tyrant"

Jamal raping that woman with his husband and kids in the next room, is beyond despicable. Especially after hearing that he simply spotted them in the market and just decided to occasionally rape her when the urge came over him.

At least Barry got the two kids taken care of.

Last night's episode was good. I'm anxious to see what happens next week with the protest. Tensions are really rising between Barry and that general. My guess is, the general isn't going to make it out of the season alive.

Also, the scenes with Jamal's little personal problem were great. I hope it never works again. :D

Yeah, best episode so far, it's getting really interesting, and Molly finally got her head out of her a** and has grown a lot in this episode.

Yeah, I liked Molly in this episode, which surprised me. I like the daughter too... I hope they expand on her story a bit more.

Jamal is a sociopath. The storyline with his daughter-in-law is interesting though.

I felt awful for that girl. Jamal is one sick f*** and his wife is just as evil.

Good episode, liking where this is heading. Also very much enjoy that the kids are basically non-existent entities overall, I feared they might get in the way, especially the son, but nope, nothing to see here.

The producers probably learned from the mistakes that were made in Homeland.

If I was Barry, I just wouldn't feel safe about my daughter being there. I would at least send the kids home.

I can't wait for the time when he starts going by his real name and drops the Barry BS. No offense to the Barry's in the world, but it's hard to take this character seriously with that name.

I am just waiting to see what kind of person Barry turns out to be. I am very interested to see how the longer he is in hat country how it will change him. It would also be very interesting if they could some way find a way to do a cross over with Homeland.

Jamal is one complex character and as evil as he appears; he seems to be genuinely good underneath….in hindsight…….he was just twisted to think like his father.

He's definitely my favorite character on the show. Every scene he's in is great.

The people around him; the general, Jamal's wife, seem like the real monsters.

I know that Barry and Jamal's wife have some sort of history together but she seems to really hate him. He probably dumped her when he left to go to America.

Jamal is a rapist though. It doesn't matter how evil his wife or his father are... if you're a good person underneath, you don't rape women.

Anyone watch last night? Jamal is a psychooooooo. It's most definitely going to be his downfall.

Very much enjoyed this episode, getting more & more interesting. Never change Jamal

of Jamall at first I thought, that he was a terrible person. Then after his accident he became a kind of okay guy. I was beginning to think that Bassom and the accident had reformed him. Lately he's sunk deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole of darkness

I loved this episode. I love that the Sheikh's taunting of Jamaal ultimately led to the attack. Jamaal was genuinely on board with the elections...but the Sheikh kept pushing him and pushing him....

I loved this most recent episode. The scene with Bassam [blackout]killing the Sheikh[/blackout] was fantastic. It was very akin to the scene in The Godfather in which Michael killed Sollozzo.

Last night's episode was what I had been waiting for. That ending was great.

Yup, great episode, interesting to see Barry doing what needs to be done and getting his hands dirty once again. That last scene was exciting, Barry taking over? kinda what's been expected nope?

Last night's episode was so, so good. Bassam doing what needed to be done was tragic, yet having him do anything else would have felt like a cop-out. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Great, great, great ep!

I knew Jamal was going to end up killing that hooker from the first time they showed her.

I can see Bassam ending up more and more like Jamal/his father and not even realizing it until it's too late.

Oh, and the last thing we needed was yet another annoying American character added to the show ala Molly's sister. :(

Was that her sister? I thought she was just a friend. Yeah, I hope she gets killed. She is annoying.
