Honestly, what are your thoughts on Kill Bill?

I like them. I enjoy them more than most of his films, but I don't love them. I don't find myself strangely compelled to watch them every time they are on TV, like with Pulp Fiction.

I love both Kill Bill movies. Wonderful entertainment.

I had LEARNED to like it.

its painfully obvious Ulma 's sword fight scenes were dumbed down because she is no swordsman. I would loved to see real kungfu.

Its not the greatest movie of all time its just...cool in its own "ripped off" way.

I'm not a big fan of Tarrintino's style which is why I detested this film.

Liked the first one, thought the second was just ok.

Seriously...I dont want to know why you like superman!! :cmad:

It was a giant, over the top, ridiculously bloody and not at all realistic piece of cinema garbage...and that's why I love it...it was what it was, and made no apologies about it to anyone...and he did the genre he was trying to do better than most of the people who founded that genre did.

Thank Joker, I couldn't have said it any better.

I liked Part 1, since it was just a mega-violent over-the-top exploitation cartoon.

I didn't like Part 2 overall because Tarantino tried to get all show-offy with his dialog and create dramatic situations for 2-dimensional characters. Same thing happened with Death Proof. Tarantino is often a little too far up his own ass with regards to his dialog structure in his films.

KB is awesome. I think people tend to confuse their feelings about QT along with his movies. Not to mention, the movie was intended to be a revenge action movie, nothing more really. That's how it should be judged.

Both were good movies, but Kill Bill Vol. 2 is my favorite. The dialog and drama are what put the second one over the first. Still, they both were great 3 out of 4 star movies.

I'm a huge Tarantino fan, so that was a plus.

I liked them both, but I thought the final fight between Bill and Kiddo was anticlimactic.

I loved the kill bills, it was like a bloodly anime came to life onscreen.

I think it's a idiotic movie. no offense for the ones who liked, of course.
I like this kinds of movie, but Kill Bill was just too silly to handle...

Love the Kill Bill movies, my one big dissappointment, I was looking forward to seeing Sonny Chiba in all out action. He has never really been featured in a big budget movie showcasing his martial arts skills.

When I heard that Tarintino had cast him I got really excited, but when I saw the movie and all he did was talk, It was a major let down for me.

One of the best martial artist ever in a martial arts movie and he doesn't even do any martial arts, go figure??

I'd be interested to see the original edit of the movies.

Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto.

Why do people hate so much? :csad:
Anyway, I enjoyed them both. Made me want to take up martial arts.

Check Rotten Tomatoes and you'll see that only the minority of the viewing audience detested the film(s).

I love these movies and Tarantino simply because he has good taste in movies...I'm talking about cult classic movies and that is primarily what he pays homage to. The whole 70s and kungfu era...its no surprise that RZA did the score. Anyway, I'm a huge fan of Asian cinema, whether its kungfu/martial arts or oriental gangsta shoot out action movies.

Not a huge fan of his movies. But I do like them to a certain extent. I think Vol. 2 is much better, mainly for the two blondes duking it out in a trailer. Awesome fight. The characters in the second one are better and it stands alone better than the first since the first has no real plot and is more showy. Though it would've be long, I think both movies put together as one would've been an awesome theater expirience.

I do think that QT does hold way too high opinion about himself, and that he does push dialogue to the breaking point, escpecially in Death Proof. But the car chase in that makes up for it. I would rather have one great action scene than tons of mediocre ones any day.

Tarantino you son of a b....

I like the first one and I really like the second one. Together I think they are pretty great.
