Future Mohinder said that even with decades of more work, he'd probably never be able to get rid of people's powers, because they were basically like another species. There's no reason that would change, especially in only 4 months.

I think we've learned that everything is not be taken at face value in the show. Mohinder went into the future in that episode before he knew his blood was actually the cure, etc, etc. Much can change between now and then and now that Mohinder is working for the company, I don't know. Does she even know that a virus exists, and if she did, how would she come into contact with the man from the company? He found her I'm assuming.

I think we've learned that everything is not be taken at face value in the show. The virus has nothing to do with curing someone of their powers. In the future, Mohinder said that people with powers were basically another species. Their powers were part of their genetic code, and couldn't be gotten rid of. You might as well try to cure a dog of being a dog, basically.

As for Niki, we barely saw her. She was in like 3 scenes, who knows if she has symptoms. Maybe her powers stopped working, and that's how she knows. Besides, who knows what's happened in 4 months, who's to say whether she knows about the virus or not.

And last but not least, i'd just be pissed in general if they went with a cure storyline. It's bad enough they're doing a Legacy virus story, I was glad when that episode virtually crushed the possibility of a cure. And wee have enough storylines going this season as it is, a cure storyline would just clutter things up.

Very first post on the SHH boards, I have been a quiet observer for quite sometime... Just wanted to add my theory...
The Hooded guy is Nathan..... Nathan bumped into Ando on the street and planted the picture of Hiro's dad in the paper... Nathan walked into the apartment where his mother was and when she left there was her picture on the wall, but Nathan didn't see it? And finally when the "hooded guy" took Hiro's dad off the building he disappeared or, more like, flew away...
Motive? He's angry that his mother and the group she was involved with all had the plan to have Peter blow up the city. He is getting revenge for what he thinks is the death of his brother.

Tell me what you all think.

Takezo can regenerate causing him to age very slowly.This would allow him to become apart of the secret cabal which the likes of the Petrellis,Nakamura,Devaux and Linderman belonged to.

Could have easily survived the fall with his healing factor.I don't think he was the same guy that went after Mama Petrelli though.Makes me think a group of people are going after the old guard.

I agree...I think Kensei goes bad (for some reason) and ages extremely slow (or maybe his regeration prevents aging?) He may be the one killing the others.

Kaito being able to clone himself would be an awesome power and explain that he could still be alive.

didn't they say somewhere that the "new villain" would be like sylar only with more class? maybe kane, the new villain, will be able to collect other heroes' power, or it might be like x-men where everyone gets a secondary power.

i like the multiple man theory for hiro's dad. it could make sense if he was in two places at once.

I will go with multiple people behind the killings. Two of them are West and Claude. Claude attacked momma Parkman and West was the one in the hood. Perhaps Claude or another fromer company man/woman, decided to form a team to go against the company with leathal means. Kind of an anti-hero team.
