I have no idea what the film will be like, but these CGI caps look incredible. So crisp and colorful!

Holy Crap. that looks amazing. Hopefully they can pull off a decent film. :)

at least it's animated (quite well) and not live action like the grinch or cat in the hat... i didn't like those.

I liked the live action Grinch but I think Dr. Suess's stories would be better as CGI movies. Possibly in 3-d.:)

Wow, that looks really nice.:meow:

I thought The Cat in the Hat was a fun movie. I enjoyed it, and laughed (especially during the mock infomercial). The Grinch? Not so much.

Sweet,that's really magical.
I love it. :yay:

How many innuendos and pee jokes will there be? :whatever:

See, I was the opposite. I thought the Grinch was fun but Cat in the Hat? Not so much. I liked Mike Myers as the Cat in the Hat but that was about it. I think Dakota Fanning and Spencer Breslin ruined the movie for me.

This is great and all, but where the hell is my Lorax movie?

"I will end you!!"

It's kind of strange that they've got Carrell and Carrey, great expressive comedic actors, and they go the CGI route. Those pics look great though.

Yeah, out of the two, The Grinch was probably the better one--the only thing I completely hated was the goddamn improptu song from the Sindy Loo-Hoo (or however it's spelled) girl (it was annoying as hell, and it was a Celine Dion song, to boot. :cmad:).

damn i miss traditionally animated films....i think that would serve seuss' work best.

I miss them too.

I just think that CGI movies aren't a bad thing, but they're no balance between each animation style (CGI and traditional) or even stop motion. That, and 8 of the 10 CGI movies that come out every year suck..

CGI looks amazing. Great actors. Film will probably be great.

those are fantastic...
Hopefully they will get Seuss right this time, personally I was disappointed by both Cat and Grinch.

The Grinch looked and felt like a Dr. Seuss story, while Cat in the Hat(granted I haven't read the book in years) was essentialy Mike Myers in a cat suit.

I would love a Lorax movie if they could do it right, keeping the themes and not dumbing it down.

The Grinch was 10x better than the ****ing Cat in the Hat. But then again, Jim Carrey is a 10x better comedic actor than Mike Myers. But also, the Grinch was just a much better film overrall.

This CGI one could be good for the kids.

Basically, not making it a comedy. Sadly, Lorax is one of Seuss' unfunny classics. There's no way they'll make a live-action or CGI Lorax movie.
