Age has nothing to do with it, women don't suddenly stop being attractive and desirable when they hit 40. In fact, many women only get sexier the older they get, Cate being a prime example. She seems to get more and more beautiful with age.

Maybe, but using hollywood as an example is kinda a false positive. Actresses and actors have access to experimental medicine made by mad scientists. In real life metabolism slows down, wrinkles become prominent, and hair gets gray and thins out.

I'm not saying Cate isn't beautiful... i'm saying that hollywood is a small sample size.

I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make here, hot and attractive 40+ women are hardly exclusive to Hollywood. As a woman myself I know from experience that all women really need to do if they want to maintain their looks as they age is to look after themselves. Maintaining a balanced diet, getting plenty of exercise and taking good care of your skin is all it really takes. People who smoke, have bad diets and/or tan excessively are usually those who age badly.

Anyway, this is all off-topic. My main point was that Cate isn't just hot 'for her age', she's hot for any damn age.
