I gotta say mine went surprisingly up... When Brett Ratner was announced as the director, my reaction was less than enthusiastic... We lost Bryan Singer for this, gee... The first teaser looked fine, but it didn´t blow me away... but as the new trailers, spots and clips showed up, my enthusiasm was gradually growing... The tone and style matched that of Singer, a lot of the dialogue sounded like it could come out of his X-Men movies, it was very serious... Now the reviews also point out to positive... I mean, not excellence, but a good movie in its own right, maybe at par with X-Men 1 if not X2... I confess concerns like if Cyclops is dead or not or Rogue takes the cure or not don´t affect me much, to me if it works for the story, it can be done... A year ago I wasn´t looking much forward to X3, now I am. How do you feel?

My confindence level was always high for this. But I admit at some times I was disappointed with some things mainly the running time which Im over now because I think this movie is going to be great regardless.

    I'm really excited.

When I first heard about X3 all those months ago, I wasn't that excited. Then the teaser got me a bit excited, and the full trailer was just awesome. And now all the clips and tv spots have just made me more and more.

I must admit, I went through a phase of thinking I wouldn't enjoy it. The running time, a few negative reviews, people being really pessimistic.. but I'm over that now, and extremely excited for Friday. :D

None, and it has been none ever since the AICN spoilers leaked. The fact that they turned out to be accurate killed any chance X3 might have had with me.

Im excited, despite what happens to Cykes- I'm dissapointed about his role cause I am a fan of him ever since i was a kid. I'm not too worried about the running time, just worried about Scott. :(

    oh and I voted for:

Good: He´s no Singer but he´ll do just fine

I'm excited and confident about this, I'd say 8.5-9 out of 10.

And I'm not a Singer fan but I agree with the rest of the phrase, "he´ll do just fine".

I'm very confident that the movie will be good, but aware that I will not like everything that happens in it.

I've been excited for this movie since the end of X2. My least excited point was when we found out that Gambit wouldn't be in ANOTHER movie. I was still excited about the movie though. I don't like the X-Men for Gambit and Gambit alone.
I just hope there are sequals.

    Total.
    It will be great.

The only negatives come from fanboys who can't get over the death of Cyke.

I voted the same. I'd say it'll be better than X1 but not as good as X2.

To make the poll less biased you should add the options:
    --Ratner will exceed Singer!
--Glad Singer left, SR looks awful!
Not stating an opinion, just noticed the poll is a little slanted. :D

I was never a big fan of Singer's movies anyway so a lot of the poll options don't work for me
Confidence-wise I'd say I'm cautiously optimistic that it will be a fun movie but the run-time worries me

Well, the Singer running theme was meant in good humor, it´s a joke and also a personal tip o´the hat.

Yeah i didnt think you meant in a malicious way[IMG]
To be honest there is so much varied buzz flying around and Ive avoided a lot of the clips that I'm just going in with no expectations and hoping to enjoy, the fact I'm not bothered about Cyclops death means that it may be easier for me than others

It's up for me. I think that it's going to be a fun movie, maybe less intelligent than the first two but who cares? If I could give up a little intelligence for a better made movie thats actually about the X-men, so be it. Singers movies were a real let down to me.

Yeah, well, the one thing that bothers me the most is the running time thing too, looks like it might feel rushed.
