For the record..overall, I like what Raimi did with 1-3. But I doubt he does 3 more.

So what makes a Spidey film? What makes a Spidey trilogy? Staying with the same formula there's drama, comedy, an overall plot that carries through the entire trilogy, and of course great CGI. What other trilogy fits this formula?...Back To The Future 1-3.

Hence, how about Robert Zemeckis? Along with the Back To The Future trilogy he directed Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Forrest Gump, Contact, Cast Away and The Polar Express. He's also produced many horror movies...like Raimi.

This guy definitely deserves a look.

I've always liked his movies. With Cast Away being one of my favorite movies of all time, I'd give Zemeckis a chance.

How about an "amen" for this guy?

like if he has had enough (I mean 3 block busters i alot) then by all means, we can find another one, but if he is game...bring it on, he is fantastic, and has the very core of this character down to the bone of perfection

sure 3 is a bit more Raimi and goofy then the other 2, but that doesn't mean its bad, just a bit off center

Raimi is probably dead tired by this point...nevertheless, he did direct a lot of movies, and probably will direct a bunch more movies, so...maybe a hiatus, but Raimi is a great director.

He's one of my favorite directors, but I'm not sure... I haven't actually saw him directing an action film. Honestly don't know.

OK: No.

D!
