Director: McG (call me crazy, but from what I've seen of Terminator Salvation, I dont think he would do a bad job) or Joss Whedon (While I'd rather see him doing an X-Men movie, seeing him directing any comic book movie would make me happy)

Writer: Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Transformers, Fringe, Star Trek...thats a pretty good resume)

Composer: Michael Giacchino (has done a bang up job on Lost, Speed Racer, The Incredibles, etc.)

Cast: Michael Trucco....Superman (He would bring an edge to Supes, while remaining wholesome like Clark should be)

Jason Isaacs....Lex Luthor (I agree that he would be great in the role)

Hmmm...

Going for a mature and grown Supes:

Kent/Supes- Michael O'Hearn (Like Standen but looks too old school Supes. O'Hearn is definitely new school.)

Lois Lane- Erica Durance who I've watched play the best Lois Lane on-screen with the kind of spunk and sass that Lois brings in a long while or a random thought but a VERY GOOD ONE I must say...Charisma Carpenter (Carpenter- a year younger than Mike O'Hearn and got the Lois look down packed)

Luthor- Billy Zane or Keanu Reeves (Random thought after seeing him Reeves bald in Matrix) but definitely prefer Billy Zane

Perry White- Michael McKean

Director- Maybe Wachowski Bros., maybe Wolfgang Petersen (love his work with Troy), I also have faith in Mark Millar and have a feeling he knows the true direction Supes needs right now for a complete revamp of the franchise done right.

I'd also like to see Campbell direct. The only two Bond movies I enjoyed were Goldeneye and Casino Royale, which is my favourite to date. That and The Mask of Zorro was enjoyable.

I'm not entirely sure of who I'd want for Superman. If the story called for an established Supes then it'd be Jim Caviezel hands down. If here were a young Supes then Henry Cavill.

Martin Campbell is a good choice for a director. This is the best thing I've read in the 8 pages of really bad casting choices.

Someone very DAMN epic needs to be Jor-El.

Rachel McAdams needs to be Lois Lane.

Spacey did an incredible job as Lex Luthor, but it would be refreshing to not even have Lex in this movie; have him like in prison or something...it'll be interesting and make people want to see a Lex in the second movie, seeing as how there's a lot of people that don't want just another Superman v Luthor movie.

MOst uninspired casting I know (and embarrassed about it) but I think it would work really well:

Ryan Reynolds as Superman

A suggestion I heard recently and I was really digging it. He is slowly but surely growing out of his goofball typecast. But his comedy background would lend him the ability to create the Clark Kent persona. Hes in great shape, handsome, becoming a real leading man. I think this is just the role to solidify that.

Jennifer Love Hewitt as Lois Lane.

Shes been off the radar for awhile spending her time on TV. I think she can get the ditziness of Kidder's version and the spunk of Delanys version. Shes also super sexy but in a very conservative way most of the time. She has a very innocent appeal to her.

Richard Burgi as Metallo

I just think he can play a good sleazeball character. Hes plays a charming a-hole pretty well.

Billy Zane as Lex Luthor.

Besides being bald most of the time, his voice just gives off that "Im sooooo much better than you" vibe. I think he also has the good looks and presence a celebrity CEO would have.

Jason issacs as Brainiac.

He has a lethal stare down. Hes can play very cold, and not in an Arnold/Terminator way, but in a way that you really believe him.

He plays really good bad guys but Id like to see him pull an Oldman as Gordon switch here (even though he eventually becomes Ruin). He always sounds very intelligent and could make a great mentor/coach type role.

Michael Cera as Jimmy Olsen

I think its pretty obvious. Hes a real witty kid. Hes got some flash in the pan success right now but I hope he can make it real. Hes one more role from being typecast as the nervous quiet kid so I'd like to see him try to be a more confident go-getter troublemaker.

Michael Jace as John Henry Irons/ Steel

Hes pretty impressive on The Shield. Hes got the look down. Basically I just want to see him in more stuff as different characters. I probably based this choice mostly on looks but he is definitely talented as well so I think hes a valid option

Michael Rooker as Dan Turpin

Rooker is just badass. I think he plays tough guys really well. When I read a comic with Turpin I always here Rookers raspy voice.

Honestly, I'm surprised we haven't heard anything from Routh this month. WB has just announced they will be doing a reboot, but all he's ever said is that he expects to do another one with Singer. What is he thinking? Is he pissed about not getting to do more as Superman? It seemed like he really wanted to, some interview had him going off about how he didn't get enough action in SR.

i wouldn't cast anyone cause I don't think a superman movie needs to be made right now. WB and DC should wait a bit so that audiences can get that bad taste from their mouths from Superman Returns. Sure some people like that film, and it has some great scenes, but the general consensus seems to show that the sequel is a failure both in box office results and in the quality of the film itself.

I think WB should focus their efforts on Wonder Woman... an awesome character, well known, and can be the first big female action movie in the superhero genre.

To make it different from other Supes Movies, I would not have Luthor in it. Instead, Morgan Edge and Metallo would be the villians. With Edge assuming Luthor's role as the big boss for the time being, with Tallo as his Henchman. An origin would be told through a short flashback. It would have a new younger Jor-El, a different looking Krypton than STM and a different premise as why it was destroyed.
