It's bound to happen in some capacity that we will see another live action Joker at some point. Let's say the next series of movies is another trilogy.Do you think he should appear as the main antagonist? A smaller role? Should be be saved for a tv series? What stories would you like to see dealt with? The Killing Joke? Death in the Family? Arkham Asylum?

Personally,I hope he's at least referenced in TDKR and outside of a flashback of Jason Todd's death wouldn't use him until there's another live action series or possibly the third installment of a possible trilogy adaptating Arkham Asylum.

In a Arkham Asylum: Serious House on Serious Earth adaptation. Helmed by Guillermo Del Toro or Alfonso Cuaron.

Played by Nic Cage.

I say give it another two or three movies.

I agree, it should happen in TDKR. It would've been awesome to see Joker escape from Arkham and cause even more chaos as a secondary villain.

First movie of the reboot. And he should be in at least two movies in a row. They should add prosthetic chin and nose to the next actor so he could look more like the character from the comics. Like what they did with the Batman Live Joker.

I dont care to see another Joker for a long....long.......time.

Yeah, I'd be perfectly content with not seeing Joker for a little while. Not because I don't want him back, but it's been almost tradition for him to make a big splash in his debut, disappear instantly, and then return decades later to another thunderous arrival.

His appearances are all the more treasured because of the high expectations and build-up to his eventual return.

I am content. I don't want to start any sort of flame wars, etc. but I really liked his portrayal in The Dark Knight. I am content with that one. Killer Croc, Black Mask, and others need to get their chance, even if they are just given smaller supporting roles.

I agree, and I'm sure I know what scene. It would've been good stuff.

See, I figured Joker would be the one to expose Dent so that he could have Batman to himself. The question that comes to mind in that scenario is "why would anyone trust Joker?" The same can be applied to Bane. In my post I was thinking about
the kangaroo court.

If Heath had lived part of me wanted to see the Scarecrow v Joker scene from the comics where Joker asks if he's got any other flavors after being hit with fear toxin, then pummeling him with a chair.

I think Scarecrow has been humilliated a lot in the franchise so far. :csad:

What about Two Face? When's the right time to see his face...um...faces again? I guess this is more directed to those who weren't satisfied with Harvey Dents screen time or characterisation (namely his lack of obsession with the number two)as Two Face in the Dark Knight or with Tommy Lee Jones' take on the character.

Personally, other than maybe a cameo in Arkham,I wouln't use him again until a live action series happens,if it happens.

.

In the 2nd movie in the next reboot IF it's a new trilogy,Adding him to part 2&3 this time..IF nothing happens to the actor!!

I think between Cesar Romero, Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger we've got Joker covered from all sides of history. Mark Hamill rounds it out for the animated version. Don't know how you could make it fresh again, although they probably will somehow.

Lol, wow. That seriously looks like the Joker lovechild of Caesar Romero and Mark Hamill.

Shame that we probably won't get to see Joker in live action for a while. What if it's another 20 year late? My god. I always wanted to see Joker in a straight jacket in Arkham, having a chat with Batman. Could have been a nice little cameo in TDKR...but alas.

Don't care. There's plenty of other villains that haven't been used or used at their advantage I want to see. Besides why don't we wait until TDKR is out and it's hype dies down before we start talking about Joker and the reboot.

And there's plenty of other superheroes that could be made movies of. But Batman is better. And so is Joker respect of other villians.

Joker may be considered the best Bat villain(and should be since he's Bat's biggest arch nemesis) But other villains should be given the spotlight on film&explored!

Killer Croc-Although GA would likely consider him a rip-off of Lizard in ASM,Especially IF first villain in a new reboot in next few years

Dr.Strange

Clayface

Deadshot

Man-Bat

Black Mask

Hush

Red Hood

Arrahat

Etc

What about Crazy Quilt, Egg Head, King Tut, and Baby Doll?
