At Comic-Con 2011, Marc Webb Said that The Ramones are connected to Spidey and that Andrew Wore a ramones shirt in the movie a couple times.

How are they connected to spidey?

They recorded the 1967 theme song as a hidden track on one of their albums and it was later used in the compilation of Saturday Morning Cartoon Theme Songs. I saw them in college in the early 1990s (1991 or 1992) and they came out to it as well.

That's the genesis of the connection. The band is from Forest Hills, where Peter Parker grew up. They were also fans of the book, TV show, etc. So they recorded the song, which is fantastic by the way.
