The Dark Knight How awesome was Two-Face's face?

I think the Two-Face design was muddled and confused. If they wanted to go realistic, they should have gone the whole way, not half half. The mouth area was great, it was sickening and interesting to watch, and I'm glad they went with the overt gore angle, it was necessary. It's just that eyeball belonged ina different design, it was almost cartoony. Imagine if it had some disgusting crusted eyelid on top, that would be more emotive, detailed, and it wouldn't look so comic book. It's like they made his eye angular and bony across the top so that he would always look "mean" and angry. When it moved around he looked like a lifeless animatronic. I know it's just an eyeball but design is very important, and I really think it didn't fit with the rest of the movie. It looked like something you'd see on a ghost train.

i thought he looked pretty badass..my only beef was with his eye...it would be dried up and shriveled as seeing there aren't any eylids, or tearducts that are able to lubricate his eyes.
oh and if someone has already said this sorry, i didnt feel like reading 7 pages of comments.

and things to nit pick about this movie just got crazier hahahhahhaha

I loved his eye.

Just because it bothered everyone. haha.

are you serious the two face in tdk was the best two face imo, come on the eye was the best thing like how it moved and everthing. To the guy who said batman forever two face was better is blind he looked like what would happen if candy melted on his face. I know that that two face scared and gave nightmares to many kids in the theater.

the thing is TDK twoface looked like a CGI creation not something you can feel or touch makeup has progressed by lightyears sine BF a good artist could have made a far more realistic and interesting effect.

I'm damn happy with it and I never thought hollywood would do that good of a job. It's SO much better than the poor excuse for a Two Face in BF.

same here! None of it is real so yea----lol.
Im happy with what the outcome was. Like i said before---blew all my expectations out the water.

loved it!:woot:

Two-Face was absolutely amazing in this film. I'd go so far as to say I enjoyed him more than the Joker. That last scene with him sends chills up my spine. The music playin in the background was astonishing!

Im with you on that, it was almost equal to Mr. J, and a big part of it was the design and make-up which should win them an oscar if not for anything else. I thought it was extremely realistic, just by the way that side of his face moved, it made it hard to tell what was cgi or makeup IMO.

The only time where it felt CG was when he was layin dead and only the bad side was showing.

Agreed. Didn't look CG at all. And I loved the eye. This is the Two-Face look I've always thought of for the character.

YES! The eye was chilling but also captivating. I couldnt keep my 'eye' off of it :oldrazz:

I thought that Two Face looked fantastic in this movie. Sure, it wasn't the most "realistic" thing in the movie, but what do fanboys expect when TWO FACE is involved? C'mon, people ...

The only thing about Two Face that made me question anything was the eye. From a realistic perspective, it shouldn't be there, and the eye should dramatically dry up because he was unable to blink/close it. From a cinematic perspective, I think it looks a lot better and more dramatic being there, and it would just be stupid to have an eye patch. I don't need a pirate Two Face. :P

Well, how does a dried up eye look exactly?

I did love it personally. To me it looked great on screen. When he first turned his head to the camera I turned to my friend and said "that's perfect."

All I have to say is it looked better then it did in a certain previous installment...

His eye was one of the best parts of the design of Two-Face for the film. Not only was it gruesome and unnerving and kept it faithful to the comic version, but when he moved it around it gave a very sickening feeling, that added to the bad vibe you got when he was on screen.

I love the scene where hes in maroni's car and hes asking him if he loves his wife and the camera is just on his burnt side completely. That is perfect. You can see his burnt off ear.

And I loved how theres probably pieces of his skin burnt onto his suit.

If you wanna ***** about realism, theres no way they wouldnt have just cut his clothing off after they first brought him in...he'd never be able to get that suit back.

As for the eye, I thought it looked awesome. If he did make it back to a sequel he would have to have some healing/scarring...maybe even a missing eye.

They did it just right. Even my gf jumped seeing her face on that hospital scene with Gordon.

I heard one girl crying when Two-Face first showed his scarred half. I was thinking "Wow, it must have a pretty powerful effect on people."

Do you think Aaron Eckhart was right when he said fans were thinking too small about how Two-Face was going to look like?

I personally think so. People were just shocked at all of the times I went. Some kid started crying in the middle of the movie, but his parents refused to take him out, or shut him up. Still, it was great to finally see Two Face up there, and not some *****e with cotton candy on his face.:brucebat:

Actually, if you look at people who have had their eyelids burned off, it's quite the opposite, they are bothered with always wet eyes as opposed to dry. Well, at least the one I've seen.

Pictures speak louder than actions....

TwoFace-2.jpg

What I hated most of this version of two-face, and it hit me the moment I first saw him on screen is that his face split is a perfect vertical line down his face yet it was supposed to be from an accidental acid spill. That's some precise trauma.
