PLEASE PLEASE forgive me if this has been discussed in another thread. But there are so many pages I don't have to time to look through them all.

I still don't get how Nathan survived being shot by Future Peter. He was declared "dead" in the E.R. And since it wasn't Linderman who healed him, could it have been Future Peter that healed him? Because Future Peter looked real surprised when Nathan woke up, like he was not expecting it.

I don't watch the series but that title reads spoiler to me :hehe:

The writers were dumb and just said he was lucky, but in my little head I think it was Future Peter and one the many powers he probably had that healed Nathan or brought him back.

What I don't get is why did Future Peter had to shot his brother?
Doesn't he have like a million powers?
He's a freakin' time traveler!!! Could have stopped his brother from spilling the beans on superpowered humans any other way, but instead he shot him.
Why?

Nathan has it in his head to ignore all of Peter's warnings so shooting him was for the best .

How about sitting him down and having a chat with him? NO! I will kill him:cmad: That Peter was from the future in which Nathan spills the beans so after he was stopped...future Peter shouldn't have existed in that present state and would therefore never went back in time to shoot Nathan:o

As we all know from Time Travel Movies, be it the Terminator Series, Back To the Future, etc., time travel rules can REALLY turn your head inside out. Where Timecop states you must never physically touch the other you from another time. Back to the Future say's you should never even interact with the other you. I'm no major in science, but Time Travel seems to complex and vast that when it comes to Fiction stories it is something you can play with, and throw in your own rules. Austin Powers 2 said it best, try not to think so hard about it.

I didn't...going back in time to talk to your brother beats going back in time to shoot your brother...twice.:o And if you say it is best not to think hard about it then that is lazy writing and why would I want to continue to watch a show or read a book with flimsy 'rules' because I should stop thinking hard about it. At least Austin Powers, Terminator, Back to the Future, and Lost stick with their theory on time travel. Heroes is just making up their own and the logic flaws in it are numerous.

And if not talk to Nathan, he's still got a ton of powers. He could've stopped time, taken Nathan prisoner, make himself look like his brother and said something different. Why use a gun? If he had to kill Nathan, why didn't he just electrocute him?

Don't think to much into it.............................................................................

Bad writing is how he survived being shot.

thats pretty much how I think he survived. i wonder if it will be explained in the dvd.

He used a gun because he was trying to stop Nathan telling the world about people with powers.
why would use his powers to stop Nathan infront of the crowds of people.
that would still lead to the world knowing bout powers.

therefore he used a gun.

Yes, but FuturePeter could time travel. Why not travel back to before Nathan called the press conference in the first place and say, "Hey, I know what you're planning. Don't do that, fool."?

Anyway, we are never going to get a better answer for how Nathan survived. The writers have already taken that "he was just lucky" stance in interviews.

Oh well, heres to hoping Fugitives just forgets all about Villians:o

Season 2 wasn't horrible...Villians was horrible with horrible writing and horrible retconning:o

Season 2 wasn't horrible? Most of the season consisted of Hiro stuck in feudal Japan, Sylar making that very long trip through Mexico with the twins, and Peter lost his memories and was easily deceived by Adam. There's a reason why Kring apologized for season 2.
