How does Bruce Banner/Hulk even end up on Sakaar?

If anything after Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) something that has always boggled my mind is how Bruce ends up on Sakaar? I mean we saw him flying the stealth plane in Hulk form and then he disappeared went off the grid and has been missing for years but then all of a sudden shows up in Thor Ragnarok shows up on all planets of Sakaar where he and Thor are reunited so it begs the question of how Bruce even ended up there in the first place

How exactly does Hulk ending up Sakaar mess with the timeline?

I remember him implying that his Quinjet crashed in the water but don't remember him saying anything or them showing anything of him being sucked through a wormhole. This is part of the pacing issues I have with the film. A lot of the non comedic material isn't given any time to register. If the film showed us what happened to Hulk post AOU in some way it breezed right by me.

I find it questionable that Hulk flew all the way to that planet in the Quinjet, that would require the Quinjet to have some sort of warp drive, or the trip would probably take hundreds of years (not to mention Hulk would have to have some coordinates to know where he was going).

Maybe the idea was that Hulk flew the Quinjet out of Earth's atmosphere, and Valkyrie found him and pulled the entire Quinjet to Sakaar?

The Quinjet flew through a worm hole - like everything else that landed on Sakaar...

Ah okay. I suppose the line about Valkyrie bringing him to the Grandmaster just meant she found him after he crashed on Sakaar.

I always took the Fiji line as a wild guess. Something landed there, could have been anything really. I think it's far more reasonable to assume a wormhole is somewhere in the space around Earth rather than in Fiji, and a Stark tech jet should be able to breach orbit.

And Hulk splashing around in his hot tub only means he's demonstrating a crash while splashing around in his hot tub. The crash could have been in water, but it also could have been on land. The only concrete evidence to take from Hulk's little act is that a crash did indeed take place.
