How effective was the opening credit sequence for you guys?

I agree it did, distance itself from Ang's Hulk, and at the same time I didn't draw out the movie until the action. It was made for fans, point blank period. It was made assuming we already knew the back story of the characters and the hulk. Actually, it picked up from the middle of the TV series in a way. Kind of how Superman returns did, where Superman follows the 2nd movies storyline. This showed us what happened after David (Bixby) got hit with radiation, but Betty didnt die just got hurt, but doesnt know where he is, no Mcgee, Banners on the run. Very clever.

The only tie in to the 03 Hulk is that it shows Banner on the Run. It combines TV series and 03 Film, but revamps it in its own way. Not totally Batman Begins and Batman 89

I thought the opening credits were great.
Last thing I wanted was to watch Hulk's origin again in full.

The titles were exciting, brought the audience up to speed and featured great music.

I'll prob buy the score for this film, it was definitely one of it's strong points.

I too thought it worked very well. It got the ball rolling and built up a real sense of excitement. It did kinda make the movie seem like a sequel, but it worked regardless.

I loved the opeaning sequance, I found it so good. I was very impressed with it.

Very intense and enjoyable opening credits. It is my favorite opening credits for a superhero movie ever.

The music was good, and the idea wasn't bad, but the execution just came off as cheesy. Especially when we were seeing things from Hulk's point of view. It was like watching a bad horror movie at that point.

I loved the opening credit sequence. It definitely set the tone of the film.

I thought it was superb. The pacing, the score, the shots. Brilliant. One of the best crafted moments in the entire film.

Very effective. It did its job really well without using a lot of play time.

I loved the opening credits. It felt like a real 'Frankenstein/Dr.Jekly and Mr.Hyde ' type movie.

I'm amazed how the film just acknowledged people know who the Hulk is and got the backstory out of the way so quickly. It was pretty creepy too, and sort of a nice nod to the 2003 film's style as well.

BANNER WINKING LIKE a PLAYBOY PUT ME OFF.

I also thought it was way too simplified which ultimately set the tone of the movie because nothing in it was really that well explained.

The opening was great and terrifying. I hope it got through some people's skulls that the origin is completely different from the '03 version which means that this movie has NOTHING to do with ang lee's hulk. As someone said before, the only connection is that banner is on the run.

It was a good way to get the new origin out of the way without spending an eternity to see the Hulk. It will be cool if we see this same kind of sequence for Cap, Thor, etc because we could get an Avengers movie sooner but i dont want them to be utter crap just to get a bigger product out.

Looking back this was probably my fave part of the movie. The way it echoed the tv series gave me chills.
