If you look closely at his wounds in this scene, you could see some cool activity going on........

Did anyone else notice that?

Yeah...I saw that. I'm glad that they put that in there to show the Hulk's healing abilities and semi-invulnerability...although if they would have shown rapid regeneration while he was fighting that might have been just as good, if not better.

seen the movie twice and didn't catch it. where was he wounded?

Cool. That's why i love the Hulk boards. When i don't catch something, i'm sure someone else will.

Hulk's healing factor is shown in the film but it is not as fast or obvious as Ang's Hulk.

I saw the movie again...and this time it really didnt look like he was healing it was just the glittery green glow of the blood and lighting that made it seem like that. If you pay attention the scars on his body stay there all the way until the scene fades out.

There was so much information to look at so I just concentrated on a wound on his right shoulder muscle. I don't think the wound regenerated that much if any. I guess I chose to look in the wrong spot. I wanted to make sure to pay close attention to see if they incorporated his healing factor in.

Damn my inattention!

i liked how his blood was green i allways wondered if his bodyly fluids were green.

No...you are right...I did the same thing..I stared at the wound on his shoulder and then on his forearm and on his back. Nothing.

If anything, it told me that Hulk barely has a healing factor.
I watched that scene closely and didn't see anything, I even checked Norton afterwards and he didn't have the wounds so I assume he did.
That scene in the cave probably took place a couple hours after the injury occured, he should have been healed by then.
We are talking about a healing factor, when Wolverine stabbed him in the stomach, he healed around his blades.

You know, that scene in the grotto just reminds me of the Hulk TV Series pilot where Elena calmed Hulk down after escaping the chamber Banner locked himself in by saying "It's okay." in a calm soothing voice.

P.S. Wish they didn't kill of Elena in the TV pilot. She would have made a great supporting character.

I liked the fact that Hulk wasn't overpowered. The fact that his healing factor isn't instantaneous or near-instantaneous gives his fight scenes weight.

Funny thing about his healing factor; he never healed from that chest wound Abom gave him during their big fight.

I remember one comic were he has figthing some creature with blades on his hands, and the thing nearly gutted him, so the hulk hasd to "pick" his guts and try to put them on place, and while he was doing that he healed around his own hand, and he had to rip his hand out of his stomach

I think this takes away from his invulnerability. He should not have healed instantly, but a little bit after the fights depending on how sever the blow. Actually they need to make superman this way too. Its hard to give him adequate enemies.

I think they may have done the healing factor different. So Hulk's wounds are gone when he reverts back to Banner.

I agree...I think that too...but does that mean he can be killed or bleed to death in the Hulk state?

To be honest I am not too sure.

In the first draft it explained that Betty is literally seeing all the wounds all over his body heal when they are in the cave but I guess changes were made from paper to camera.

Huh...an invulnerable Hulk....I don't know how I feel about that.

You guys know that... regardless of if his healing power is instantaneous it IS there. How do I know?

...We see a naked quivering Banner with no scars.

/End Discussion.

Yeah...this is true, but what happens if he is damaged severely in a fight, can the hulk die by bleeding out in your opinion.

Well seeing has his chest was slit open with blood pouring down (though the bleeding seemed to stop rather quickly) and the open wounds in the cave weren't bleeding... maybe it means his blood clots the wounds scab over quickly and the flesh heals later.

Which means, yeah, he could probably die with enough open wounds (if they actually continued to bleed out,) but hey, it'd still be hard as heck to kill Hulk.

Didn't think of it in that way......you got a point. I agree, ok...hulk is back to being pretty invulnerable.
