How I Met Your Mother

I don't care if he never meets the mother as long as this fantastic show keeps going on.

Its always been more than just a "comedy sitcom", this show has always been what I thought of as a hilariously funny drama. They've always had real themes, and people making choices that hurt others and being hurt themselves. Thats why its such a great show, its 3-dimensional while most other sitcoms are 1 or 2-dimensional - even the good ones that I also like. Mondays episode being emotional wasn't surprising at all, though Marshall's dad dying was.

Actually, I saw it coming when they cut to his toolshed and he wasn't there. Hoped it wouldn't happen but it did. And ****. I felt so bad...almost wanted to tear up myself.

It will suck when this show finally goes off the air. As far as i'm concerned its perfect. That this show hasn't cleaned up emmy's for writing and acting is a travesty, but I digress.

Always been a fan of this show but this season is really strong! Barney makes it golden, of course. He could have a show all to himself.

HIMYM, Big Bang Theory, and Rules of Engagement have all gotten quite a bit racier/sleezier this year. Some moved to a later timespot.

I said it before and I'll say it again. A show only about Barney would get boring really fast. He's needs the rest of the cast to balance him out.

Yes, absolutely, he wouldn't be such a likeable character by himself, think Joey without the rest of the Friends cast, good thing no one ever tried that:cwink:

A 10 minute short every week about Barney and his latest conquest wouldn't be boring. It'd be awesome. Maybe even...legendary.

That seems pretty unlikely, given that she was born in 1987 and the show started in 2005...

She's three years older than me. So, really... not that creepy.

I thought she still does the show? Or did she film her scenes early on and they re-use them every now and then?

I think they just reuse old footage. Otherwise people would tell that the kids aged five years in the course of Ted telling them this story.

She and her brother are always in different clothes though.

damn your avatars. I keep thinking you two are the same people. :cmad:

We are the same people, Mike...

We're coming for you, Mike....
