It was ok, didn't really have the emotional punch I was expecting. Nice to see Sandy Rivers back though plus Robin's greatest hits. Doppleganger Barney was great too

random thought I had the other day...
but, would it be too weird, if they brought back the actress who played his future daughter?(Lyndsy Fonseca)
idk, I was just thinking that it would really show a strong family resemblance, like as soon as you see her, she would have a familiar, recognizable look

the clips they showed of her throwout the series was from when she was 17-18, she's like 24 now (probably will be even older by the time we actually met her, in the show) an if need be, they could make her look older (like they do in flash-forwards of the rest of the cast)



again, just a random idea, curious to hear your thoughts on it

I don't think they would do that. No child is identical to one parent. Even 2 years from now, Fonesca will still look too young for Radnor.

I have to disagree. I knew that one girl in elementary school. When I saw her mother, I thought they were freaking clones. The similarities were uncanny. >_>

we know that, the mother, was at least still in collage when he started teaching, so, I don't except her to be that close to his age (maybe, not that young) but, still, we know she is significantly younger then him (maybe, someone around, Rachel Bilson's age, since she played the room mate, so, they were probably around the same age, tho, even she was a little old to be playing a collage student, but, she looks young for her age, so, it worked)

It's funny because I'm watching the episode with the Whooooooooo Girls, and every time I see it I always think that Lily's teacher friend is Dushku because she looks a lot like her.

the random blonde chick (Kim Matula) who was in that class, that wasn't actually his class, on his first day of teaching (but, said, that tho, he didn't know it at the time, the mother, was in that classroom)

the random blonde chick (Kaylee DeFer), who he saw with, Cindy (Rachel Bilson) at the bar, and thought she might of been the roommate (but, turned out to be [BLACKOUT]her girlfriend[/BLACKOUT])

I was rewatching some clips from the show today. I can't wait to get more of Nora, really interested in how they write up her back story.

It's funny because I'm watching the episode with the Whooooooooo Girls, and every time I see it I always think that Lily's teacher friend is Dushku because she looks a lot like her.

Dream come true for Whedon fans but I personally think we'll never meet the mother, she'll be the all important unseen character like Stan on Will and Grace, Vera on Cheers, Ugly Naked Guy on Friends and best of all Nerys on Fraiser. I figure the final scene will be a door opening, Ted turning around to meet the person stepping through and going 'So that's how we met'. I might start a poll

No, I feel like we HAVE to see the mother, I can't imagine them pulling so many "fake" mothers onto the screen but never giving us a look at the real mother.

If that's the case, I will be incredibly disappointed.

Saw the funeral ep today, very good, especially like the fact that Robin's dad is now played by the great Ray Wise, Leland Palmer herself. Also great to see Danny Strong again, shame his part wasn't longer. The final revelation sets up a heck of a cliffhanger.
One question, isn't Crocidile Dundee 3 called Crocidile Dundee in LA?

Finally saw Desperation Day and met Nora, could this really be the girl for Barney? Loved Robin's English accent (although she was supposed to be from ancient Rome?).
Not so keen on Zoe and I think they're padding that relationship out needlessly
