Here's my reaction to the whole Holmes/****ty Pumpkin thing:

I think Segal should at least be nominated. He's great in every episode IMO.

I feel like compared to the competition, all of the main cast of HIMYM is worthy of at least getting nominated.

It always boggles my mind how people like Jon Cryer and that dude from TBBT can get nominated all the time, but never see anyone from this show get one.

NPH has been nominated right and left for Emmys, but he has yet to win one, which is just ****ing shameful.

Jim Parsons winning for best lead actor was a joke. I'm sorry, but that show is ****ing terrible. :o

That was a guest star emmy. That's a ****ing joke. If you're going to give him an Emmy, give him one for the great work he does year round. Don't let Jon Cryer bend you over a table and then just toss NPH a guest Emmy just to keep him happy. That is bull****. :o

I don't mind Holmes but that's a Modest Pumpkin costume right there.

I might just have to watch The ****ty Pumpkin episode before this new one airs

 Agree 100%

To me, it seems like HIMYM always gets overlooked. I've never liked Two and a Half Men, the comedy is too easy in that, and the fact that that has won annoys me.

HIMYM is currently in the "SHH's Greatest TV Show Tournament" and it's up now! It's against "Entourage", so vote for HIMYM

Seeing the American flag in the back makes me really hope Barney does an Apollo Creed Rocky 4 type entrance.

good episode. i like the smartphone jokes.

i think Ted should be angry at Robin and Marshal.

So I guess that revelation about Ted/Robin/Barney hanging out too much is back at the forefront. I'm excited to see how everyone deals with it this season.

Average episode, I'm surprised they told everybody ahead of time the sex of the child. It's going to be a boy!

The baby mystery stuff wasn't all that interesting since we've known their first kid would be a boy since "Last Cigarette Ever".

Haha McG. Good episode, thought this seaon has been lacking so hopefully it starts picking up pace now.

one of my friends asked me a question the other day that made me stop and think. Did Ted ever say that he was the father? Is there a possibility that the mother had the kids before Ted even came into the picture?

Could of sworn It's been mentioned he is indeed their father.

Oh Gawd. That would be lame. Especially since the boy looks almost identical to Radnor.

I couldn't remember off the top of my head a specific example. He calls them "kids" all the time, but that doesn't necessitate a biological connection. I think it would be lame as all hell, but I don't think I can ignore the possibility now that the question has been brought to my attention.

I think people are thinking wayyyyyy too much into this. It's straightforward. Ted is their father and his future wife is the mother of his children. They're not going to make some big twist and reveal the mother of his children and his wife are two different people or that Ted isn't the biological father. There would be no point.
