I think people are thinking wayyyyyy too much into this. It's straightforward. Ted is their father and his future wife is the mother of his children. They're not going to make some big twist and reveal the mother of his children and his wife are two different people or that Ted isn't the biological father. There would be no point.

That's what happens with comic/sci-fi fans watching non-comic/sci-fi shows. Everyone's used to searching for the conspiracy or anomaly. Like when people mentioned other timelines seeping into episodes of Community and Evil Troy and Evil Abed showing up in a future episode.

Could of sworn It's been mentioned he is indeed their father.

In the few times that they have spoken, they've referred to Ted as "dad." Also, he has referred to his mother as their grandmother and his father as their grandfather.

Community and HIMYM are two different shows. When a show has alternate timelines and then the characters in an alternate timelines declares it's their mission to return to the prime timeline and said show has had paintball war, zombie, and claymation episodes it perfectly reasonable to think they would return. But not to make this about Community it has it's own thread. I don't see the point of this theory either. There is no evidence or even reason to support it. Nor do many people want that to happen so why would the writers do it?

People have paintball wars in real life. The zombies were explained as a temporary sickness, and seeing as nobody died they technically weren't zombies, and the claymation was pretty much a dream sequence. They were all just played up to be more like movies. There's a difference between using movie homages in a normal setting to help tell your story and having a gag timeline and evil versions of your characters cross paths with your normal one in a show about a lawyer's character arc when he's forced to return to Community college.

Of course, the credit sequences are pretty much just quick little gags that have nothing to do with the actual story most of the time. Evil Troy and Evil Abed could show up there, but people are treating it like Dan Harmon's planning some epic crossover for later in the season. There will be no "Crisis of Infinite Communities."

I don't like Robin's therapist boyfriend. The guy's acting may be fine for Harold and Kumar, but he's over hamming it for the sitcom, which I've seen lots of actors do when they go from movies to TV.

And for someone who's supposed to be a therapist, he needs to recognize his own need to please everybody. He annoys me.

He wasn't trying to please everybody just Robin. If he said something bad about her friends she would be pissed. I also don't think he's hamming it up. Although I've only seen parts of Harold and Kumar and know him from House.

Robin's hair this season is homely as ****. I understand she's growing her hair back but damn.. put a wig on her.

He offered to paint Marshall and Lily's baby's room. It had nothing to do with Robin. He offended everybody by his little outburst, not just Robin and had to make it up to everybody.

He said he only was there to get boyfriend points. If he said he wasn't going to analyze them because it would upset Robin. He offered to paint the room as an apology to everyone because Robin would be mad if he just apologized to her.

meh, I think part of boyfriend points is being liked by her friends, which is what I think he was doing.

I actually haven't liked her hair, or pretty much her entire appearance since the first couple of seasons. She just looked so different in season 1.

Smulders looks very different . i think she lost to much weight after the baby. she somtimes looks ''deformed''

Its definitely her cut hair and toned body from The Avengers. I think she looks great

The continuity on this show astounds me. I had never even put together Lily's father designing board games and Marshall's love of board games.

Yeah, she looks better than she's looked in years.
