If they can keep up the quality I'm all for more seasons, but from what I've seen shows tend to fall after 5 seasons. They are forced to drag out story lines and have a bunch of filler episodes that no one wants to see. I'd rather this show go out on top instead of becoming a show I hate.
Smallville should've ended well before 10 seasons. CW will keep it going as long as it makes money they don't care what the quality is like.
So if they plan on running it for a long time I hope the writers have a well thought out plan for the different seasons.
