The S.H.I.E.L.D. comic books i mean, most of them featured Nick Fury as the main character but could some of these stories be used with the show's characters?

There's quite a big variety of S.H.I.E.L.D. stories, in my opinion it would be a waste not to use them for a SHIELD show. There are also a lot of espionage elements in many of the stories, do you think they should make a translation to TV?

Well they have the flying SHIELD car.

So why not.

The show's focus is entirely different from that of the old comic book series. Coulson's mission is finding people with superhuman powers and/or advanced technology, not infiltrating sinister organizations. While HYDRA may well factor into the show at some point, I don't think it's going to play a central role.

^ That could include infiltrating sinister organizations one day. I could see HYDRA becoming a central part of the show in S2 after Cap 2.
