How much money do you spend for comic books each month?

Zip. Don't have to time to read and buy the books anymore :(

zero, zilch, nada...

I haven't bought or read a comic book in over 10 years.
I used to buy tons of comics.........:(

I'll add to the chorus and say $0. I stopped following monthly comics in 2004. I have bought graphic novels and collections since then, but those are few and far between.

Well, it costs me about 10 bucks total to take the train downtown Chicago to work and occasionally go into the local comic shop and read the books in there so.....about 10 bucks.

The only monthly title I buy is Harley Quinn, otherwise I wait for the trades.

I kicked the comics monkey off my back around ten years ago and now my wallet thanks me... so I'm not spending a thing in the way of actual comics or trade paperbacks, but I WILL dip into the wallet for that rare Masterwork or Omnibus, but that's IT...

I stopped collecting floppies back in 2011, and I'll never go back. Trades are the way to go, and as much as I love the characters the output of Marvel and DC is almost exclusively garbage. Creator-owned comics in a bookshelf friendly format are the way to go, but even then I'm many years behind on a ton of stuff I'd like to read.

So I'll join everyone else and say $0.

Just the odd single issue of whatever mini series insterests me, otherwise I might plop out about $200 and binge buy a bunch of graphic novels once a year.

About 30 to 50 euro a month. I mostly follow some bat titles.

Nothing. Until Marvel cleans house (Alonso, Bendis etc.), I'm not buying comics. This era is the worst. I'd even take something similar to the 90s comics over this current run.

Not much. I prefer the TPBs or one-shots. I'd rather get the whole story ion one shot than wait for weeks or months at a time to get the whole thing.

Nothing against the comics industry but I'd rather just pay one time for something than pay constantly for years on end. It's one of the reasons I've never gotten into MMOs.

Not bad.

DC is not better. Unfortunately.......

It depends if there are any Doc Savage books being produced...right now DYNAMITE is producing DOC SAVAGE: RING OF FIRE.....so I'm spending $8.00 because I buy 2 copies (they put out alternate covers....and I collect Doc).

Suicide Squad and Deathstroke were the only titles I was buying. Here lately, I've decided to wait for the TPBs.

Agreed. A 30 (sometimes 25) page book of which half is ads... screw that.

I make bi-monthly trips to my LCS, and spend between $50-$100 each time. I buy just about anything with a Green Lantern or Eddie Brock in it to keep. I buy other titles to read and trade or resell.

I'm in a similar boat. In the past year, I've been hitting up my LCS at least twice per month and I spend roughly $25-$45 each time on average.

I was doing the same years ago, but then kind of stopped and became a "trades guy" for awhile. However, especially since DC's Rebirth launched, I'm deep in it again and regularly reading a slew of titles each month.

Since I only started reading seriously a few years ago I don't read the current titles (I'm busy enough catching up on all the older stuff) so I pretty much only buy one or two TPBs once every few months.

Zilch, zip, nada, zipsky!! My monetary funds are utilized for other things, such as national defense. :sly:

$0.00

Haven't seriously been into the comics since I was young. Tried to get back into them a few years back but still didn't pay anything since I used, uh, digital options....

Movies are where it's at for me these days, much easier to take a few hours out of my life every couple of months then it is to try and keep up with all the titles and marvel having 50 events every damn year bleeding over into titles I like while interrupting the current arc.
