we all hate this stupid kid, thats agreed, but how should he go out?
if i have to read him call Clark or Lois "Daddy Clark" or "Momma Lois" again im gonna puke... this kid sucks

Is he even worse than Damien?

That'd be something.

damien is arrogant, chris kent is just a *****

Ummmm no....I actually like the idea that Clark and Lois adopted a child. It makes a lot more sense than Lois giving birth to Superman's child since biologically it's very unprobable. And the fact that he's Zod's child makes it interesting.

but how should he go out?
He shouldn't

I gotta give that to ya. Reading "Daddy Clark" is kinda lame.

Dude, its a comic book. if the writers decided that humans and kryptonians could mate, then they can mate. done and done. i loathe this little kid... hes written soooooooooooo lame... the only thing i like about him is his first name is an homage to chris reeve.

watch ill pretend im geoff johns or grant morrison and explain how lois could carry the child to term WITHOUT it kicking a hole in her stomach when she gets tan:
she absorbs the solar radiation but does not store it like a kryptonian, therefore she wouldnt pass it on
see, pseudo-science at its finest... if superman can sneeze and cough without leveling the daily planet then he can "fire his pistol" without killing lois.
adoption was the biggest cop out ever... screw you donner. i hated your movies and i hate your comics...

dude, if i had to pick one and only one to go, id pick him over damien... id happily keep damien

I'm neutral to Chris Kent. Damien can kick rocks.

I say send him into the Negative Zone and have him return after a few issues as a fully grown adult, only now he is dark, evil, and incredibly powerful villain who totally hates Daddy Clark.
He and Clark battle for a few issues until he dies in a very traggic scene that reminds the reader that he used to be a cute little kid.

DO people forget Superman and Lois had sex in For Tomorrow?

As a reader very much opposed to character assassination (even to characters I don't like), I gagged a little when I read that.

I think Busiek writes him rather well.

why are superhero comic fans so against heroes having children?
You're all a bunch of child murderers.

Thats sort of were it came from, that some comics have been written that way.

im all for superheroes getting married, having kids etc... but i think the way they handled all this with supes was a giant cop out

How was it a cop out? Because it was an adoption?

Thousands of couples adopt children every day, and not just because they can't conceive. It's not unrealistic, or a stigma. Nor is it somehow "worse" than having "real" children of your own. I mean, talk about a loaded suggestion.

Lois and Clark both work, right? Who do they get to babysit their superkid? Donna Troy?

They've hired regular nannies. Chris usually wears a red sun watch designed by Batman to negate his powers, so for all purposes they're babysitting a normal child. Except that Batman is apparently a ****** who forgot to calibrate the watch for a child instead of an adult, and now we've got shenanigans.
