I'd like for him to maintain an average height of 7-8 feet throughout most of the film, with a maximum of 12 feet in his most enraged state of being, maybe for 5 minutes of the movie.

7-8 feet is way too short, especially since the Hulk is CGI. He needs to be huge & be 'HULKing', since he is the HULK afterall.

True, but there comes a certain point where he starts to lose his humanity completely and there's no sense of connection between him and Betty or his human self. He's just a gigantic monster out of a fairytale story or something. This was a big complaint among many fans after seeing Ang Lee's Hulk.

13 ft is the tallest he should be in any story, whether it be movie or comic book.

Looks like shorter than 9 feet to me, compared to the other guy. Who has about the same height as an average human.

Spot on mate. Spot on!

The Hulk's height seems to be very inconsistent in the comics but for this film I just want him to be huge. I want him to be really muscular with veins popping out of his arms & he should be tall enough to differentiate him from a human. What I mean is that if he's only 7-8 feet tall, it's stupid because that's something a man in a suit can capture & it's way too short of a height for the Hulk in a movie & even in the comics. I've always imagined the Hulk as being someone who's really tall & has that deep scary voice.

I think people just lose their sense of measurement when it comes to the Hulk. Think about it. You know how tall seven or eight feet really is? That's practically through the average roof. If you had someone that tall walk up to you, you'd feel like an ant on the sidewalk.

The only time when the Hulk needs to exceed that height and push the double-digits is when we see him from a distance, holding up the golden gate bridge or something.

Even though people dislike it, I'd like to see the Hulk becoming larger as he becomes angrier. It was in the comics but as long as he's not ridiculously tall (Godzilla size), it'll be fine.

This is The Great Khali, a WWE wrestler, he is 7 foot. Hulk is going to be 9 foot in this movie which is 2 foot taller than this guy. If you use the guy standing with The Great Khali as a size comparision then 9 foot is perfect.

somewhere between 9' and 10' is fine. i don't care if he is bigger than 10'. just as long as he isn't under 9'.

in some comic book pics the hulk's finger are nearly wider than a man's waist.

it's good to see the hulk doesn't look like a pretty boy like ang's version.

the WWE says he is 7', but i wonder if he is that tall. they like to exaggerate dimensions in pro wrestling.

He sure does look 7foot when he is with other wrestlers like Undertaker and Kane.

What I don't seem to get is why everyone keeps debating his height. In the comics, his height was 7'6" and weighed 1,150 lbs. For the movie they have chosen to go with 9' in height. It's not really up for debate anymore or like they don't know which direction they want to go. We as fans should accept the size given and concentrate on other pressing issues. They are not gonna change it. A growing hulk was just plain stupid. The worst part of the movie was when he picked up Betty. He was half the size of King Kong and then looked smaller fighting the dogs. His size was perfect in the beginning when he first changed when he looked to be around 8-9' ft tall.

Yes, that's exactly my point, also. He shouldn't be so enormous that he picks up Betty as though she were a 16' doll. That smacks of King Kong and Ann Darrow.

The point is the size was so inconsistant in the first movie we needed a chart to determine how angry he was. Besides he was about 20 feet tall hiding behind that tree and I was like WTF? You lose the connection physcially with Betty when he's that big. He's beyond Hulkish at that point, he's a giant and the Hulk was NOT A GIANT.

They say he's 7'3"-7'4". He's a legit 7'1" though.

It has to be 9'... have you guys ever seen the footage of the tallest man in the world who was 8'11"? 9' is HUGE.

Not to spoil anything, but Leterrier isn't aiming for an Ang Lee giant. This new Hulk will be smaller.

I like that they're going with 9 ft because that will make Hulk quite a bit taller than any human could possibly be but not so big you lose his humanity when interacting with normal-sized people. No fear of Kong-Hulk syndrome this time.
