CONFIRMED: Craig Armstrong to score "Incredible Hulk"

Craig Armstrong is great, I love his work and think it'll go perfectly with TIH, his songs are so powerful and dramatic, just like big green. I think 'O Verona' or 'Escape' would be good choices for the trailer, when it comes out.

Weather Storm kind of sounds like The Lonely Man.

Good point errr ear. Maybe that's why he was chosen. His sound is very similar to Hulk's television theme music.

Hopefully the score will stick to the more classical elements instead of the more electronica stuff.

I think we'll get a bit of both which could work well in an action flick like this. Terminator's electronic music sounds good. I think the electronic sound, fits only in a certain mood, in action films. A mood that Hulk will most likely have.

As far as the classical sound goes, I just hope Hulk's main theme song stands out like Indiana Jones, Star Wars' and Superman's. Also, that each main character has a theme song that fits them. And to add icing to the cake, I'd like to hear a symphonic rendition of Lonely Man, as Banner is walking away from the camera before the credits roll.

I just saw Moulin Rouge last night. Great movie, even if I have some issues with it. I'm glad to hear they have talent like Armstrong on this movie.

Craig Armstrong is great, I bought an album of his a few years back which contained soundtrack type songs, very atmospheric. So he was a drem choice for me to score TIH.

I'm loving the music in the trailers expecially trailer #3 as well as the music on the Incredible Hulk Movie site.

Is it confirmed that that's all Craig?

Not sure if its confirmed, but I think it is him because he is that good. when I told a friend of mine recently who he thought was scoring the hulk, I asked him if he could pick anyone who would it be, and he replied Craig Armstrong.

If there's one thing Marvel films haven't had much luck at is having a memorable score for their films. Spider-Man's stood out, but wasn't very action oriented. The most memorable of their films so far is, even if you don't like it you have to admit, X2 and X3. For me X3 much more so.

But I'm hoping Hulk's score is awesome. And I agree that electronica type orchestral music could fit the Hulk's mood.

Will do. I've listened to snippets of his material and I really dig his sound. It has an airy emotional feel.
