How will Thor fly?

I think Thor should be the strongest hero on The Avengers. And one of the most visual characters.

Lets hope he has at least one great flying scene on this movie.

Yeah he should be shown at near the same strength level as Hulk, but his powers make him more useful & formidable.

I don't know, I personally don't see how Superman came to have some kind of universal monopoly on flight. Plenty of heroes fly in the comics.

I really hate it when people compare superman and other heroes. Like he's the only character who's allowed to fly. **** like that pisses me off. Or they say character X shouldn't fly to differentiate from supes. And apparently every character is a copy of supes. I'm sure Howard the Duck is a copy of superman in some way too....

I'm fine with that so long as it doesn't translate to "Hulk always beats Thor" in practice, as it has done for like twenty years in the comics and now animation and probably the movies soon.

Yeah that's getting VERY old, they act as if Thor doesn't have any fans of his own. If they don't show Thor fighting Hulk on a fairly even playing field, then I don't even want them to fight in the Avengers film.

Don't they understand that they're making one of their own heroes look bad? Why not have them stalemate more often, that way both characters get their due respect.

That would be GREAT if they have a few seconds of epic flying from Thor in the next trailer/superbowl spot.

The next trailer will consist of Thor just flying around. That's it.

But seriously, I wouldn't mind seeing Thor flying and doing an epic internal monologue for most the superbowl spot, then suddenly landing to begin a huge action scene.

I can see that too BT, I just want to see some actual Flying. What we saw in the trailer to ME looks more like a jump than Flying, if that was flying.

Yeah I wonder where they can fit in a flight sequence

1) When they go to the Frost Giant realm

2) Maybe during the Destroyer fight?

3) When he gets back to Asgard either before, after, or during the fight with Loki

Probably the Jontunheim scenes, makes sense to show part of a big battle and flight there with a sports event going it could catch some attention.

Hiddleston has stated in an interview that he (Loki) flies and teleports.

If Loki flies then Thor will fly.

I actually hope he just flies because he's a MF'n God. I can do without the spinning honestly, just don't think it would translate well.

I could deal with him being able to control Mjolnir with his mind and just hanging onto it though, maybe have the runic script on it glow softly.

Makes me wonder if they might give his armor some Asgardian magictech antigravity properties?

He'll fly one way or the other though.

yeah we know Thor flies, Actually first I heard of Loki flying, but with Magic it's possible.
I just want to see if it's Mjolnir or what?
