I don't get Goyers STAR LABS reference because ive missed it each time ive seen the movie.
Possible references? Either something was referenced or it wasn't. If you're talking about the STAR Labs, then no, Cyborg wasn't referenced, any more than he is referenced any other time Superman goes to STAR Labs for help/science.
Now, it's possible that they are doing the New 52 thing, but right now... it remains to be seen.
GENIUSfor all the Hal Jordan and Barry Allen fans.....how about we ditch both of them and fuse them into one character, The Flashing Green Lantern....and make the character female and name her....Halle Barry![]()

I would like to present an idea for who should Green Lantern be and I want guys to keep an open mind about this.

Just saw the IGN page. It's no surprise to me that even after all these years being under-promoted by DC/WB ,people still want to see John over Hal. That show was the absolute greatest exposure a GL's ever had. John was,is, & probably always will be the most logical choice for a GL in live action. Hal's been around for a loooong time &never became anywhere near iconic. He'll never be that guy. Hal's movie was a horrible flop and his animated series got scrapped. The GA simply doesn't care enough about him &Here is what I think. John Stewart & Barry Allen.
At the end of the day, Barry should be Flash. If I was to do Barry, I would make him more Spider-Manish with giving him brains and having him crack a joke. The GA recognizes Flash as the funny member via JL and Young Justice animated series & animated movies. Giving Barry a bit of the sense of humor Wally has isn't bad.
It's also best to have John Stewart. John IS the most popular JL due to the animated series. He's been known to the GA for 12 years. Not sure if y'all read the article on IGN stating why John should be the GL for the DCCU. One reason is that the target audience, 18-24, is the same audience who watched JL cartoon and that target age was 8-12. They recognize John. Another reason is it was said one reason Will Beall's script sucked was because Hal and Barry were too similar. They tried to make them both funny and you should only have one funny guy. If you watch YJ and the Justice League animated movies, Hal is much more serious. If your gonna go serious, why not go John? I've always seen the GL Corps as the X-Men to DC. Make John the Wolverine and Hal the Cyclops. Wolverine & Spider-Man does have a good relationship.
John & Barry.

his comic fanbase ain't big enough to make a difference. WB/DC entertainment made a mistake, now it's time to erase that mistake. Leave Hal's silly looking ass in the books only. Choose John & stack the odds in the film's favor as much as possible. Some of Hal's comic fans will be pissed for a bit, but it won't matter and they'll probably feel better if the flim's good & John's good in it
I'd like it, provided its DCAU John and not "I love collateral damage" John.
Voted Hal and Barry. John and Wally sounds don't really have much of a relationship outside of JL/JLU. Funny enough, Wally's GL pal was Hal. Wish that was an option, cus I probably would've picked it.
CIN.
Kyle Rayner was really more Wally's GL pal in the comics after Hal went bonkers during his Parallax phase, and I would like to see the vitriolic best buds dynamic Wally and Kyle had brought to life, but I have a feeling that won't be happening any time soon.![]()
Yeah, me too. Wally/Kyle was one of the highlights of JLA back then. But you're right, there was more Wally/Kyle than Wally/Hal.
I really wish DC would put Kyle and Wally into one of these new animated flicks. It would be nice for hardcore comic readers and helpful for non-print fans to see the GLC and Flash Dynasty working together on film. They wouldn't even have to replace Hal and Barry, but they could be presented alongside them.
The costume looks bad. it should be Hellboy with a GL suit and a mask, that's all he needs, not the trenchcoat.I'd def read this thoI would like to present an idea for who should Green Lantern be and I want guys to keep an open mind about this.

I say Hal and Barry build off those characters that way they can do something no one has done yet kill off a heroes and have his sidekick replace him. I like Wally and I think it will be better for him to earn the mantle of the Flash than just start as him.
