if you can build a suit that can fly and do all sorts of stuff why are you driving a gas driven car??? If you can build an onboard computer that is very close to sentience but still has to use a Nokia cell phone????

I agree to the point of that far ahead. Going TOO much farther would have to literally invent things that people couldn't understand, and then you have the 1990's all over again.

Young Avengers is perfect the way it is, but to get it back on track I'd get a second writer to pitch hit for Heinberg (Maybe Allan coming up with the plot while another guy script it.)

because with great power comes great responsibility. if Tony were to flood the market with his inventions, think of how that would effect industries around the globe. he could crash the market with his tech.

I think I have an idea for how to revamp/revive The Mandarin:


I'd keep the origional dead, but I'd make good use of his son, Temugin. You see, the whole deal with the origional Mandarin is that, were it not for the Cultural Revolution, he would have been a very wealthy and influential aristocrat. So, he tried to regain his power by leading several coups against the Chinese government. Temugin wishes to honor his father's goals and regain his family's former possition of power. However, instead of using subversive means lik his father, he tries another, much more succesful method. Through political manipulation and proper use of physical intimidation, Temugin becomes President of the People's Republic of China, and thus the head of state of one of the world's main super powers after the U.S.A.

Arcade: We all love the guy, but he's become a kind of joke character. Just brought in when a writer needs a big filler villain. Way he started out, he was an specialty assassin who wealthy clients payed millions to make the target suffer before they die. Thus, he builds high tech fun houses of death he calls "Murder Wordls" and pushes his targets minds and bodies to the limit in them so, even if they survive, when he finally lets them out, putting a bullet in their head would be a mercy. But, after so many failures, it's a wonder that he still gets the vast amount of money needed for his murder worlds. So, way I see it, he goes back to the basics. Starts doing more hands on assassinations. Snipings, bombings, poisonings, and so on. Becomes a major political assassin, and starts buulding up enough money for a new Murder World for some specialty kills on the side. Could end up being a good villain for Captain America, Nick Fury, or the Black Widow.

I kinda like Arcade as a joke character, he's so 80's and silly even for a comicbook villian.

I totally get that evil Willy Wonka thing, but I'd go for more of a 'Saw' Jigsaw killer thing with Arcade I think it's his name too that is cheesy to me.
