9/10. Stellar, other than the neighbor characters. Had they not been there, it would be an easy 10/10. Second best superhero show of all time (Daredevil is first).

I voted 10/10. To me, this may have been even better than Daredevil. That being said, it's much harder to watch than Daredevil. I had to take a break almost every episode, especially early on, because it was just too tense at times.

It's a 7 or 6 for me. It was enjoyable in the beginning but less and less as time went on. Definitely not as good as daredevil.

im kinda the other way around. I liked some of the neighbor characters, but I don't like how they were handled.

what is the difference between this poll and the other?

The other one is attached to a spoiler heavy thread?
If you want to rate the whole season you have already seen it, so spoilers don't affect you.
If you just want to look at the poll results, just look at the poll results. no spoilers there.
I'm sorry, but this thread is redundant

i don't see why there needs to be two threads because of that. It's what spoiler tags are for. I see other forums doing this too.

Well this is one of the few threads where people can read people's spoiler free opinion of the show.

The poll is redundant to an extent but the comment area serves a valid purpose.

7/10

I watched the entire show for like 4 days and I'm kinda underwhelmed with how it ended. Like I like the character that showed up in the last episode but for the praise that it got from critics,I was kinda expecting Emmy-ish kind of material to be honest. I like the lead character better than Charlie Cox's Daredevil but I ended up enjoying that show more than this one. That show just offered more things.

With this, there were a couple of episodes that just felt so long I mean 51 minutes and most of it was talking, like c'mon. They could easily wrap it up in 9 episodes but I guess they had to complete the 13 episode order. Then production wise, like Daredevil, it looked a budget TV show, the cinematography, the music was too quiet which could make the show non-engaging especially during the long talk scenes. The fight scenes were not an improvement from Daredevil though I kinda expected that. Production wise, it looked like it was made by an indie company to say the least. I wish it had more spectacle to be honest and beautiful scenery shots.

The characters... they were okay however I'm kinda disappointed with Carrie Anne Moss' character, I felt like the actress deserved a stronger material, she was quiet aloof in this show. I've seen Rachael Taylor in a couple of ABC shows and IMO, she's one of the better actors in this show. I wish Luke Cage had more personality, like when he was on screen I didn't really get excited to see more from him. The two cast members from the showrunner's previous ABC drama show (Red Widow) I instantly recognized them but their just didn't leave me with a lasting personality, like I definitely got a "disposable cast member" vibe from them. Then Kilgrave, he was alright but then I felt like they dragged this feud with Jessica for so many episodes and I was really expecting the end of the show to be great and at the end I thought it was just okay. Had good moments but not great.

9.5/10, awesome show. The darkest take ever on a live action superhero.

9/10. Great show, I liked this a little better than DD. Unique story and POV, fleshed out and engaging characters, and a truly imposing main villain.

8.5,great show. I preferred Daredevil which was almost perfect for me. Tennant was incredible, fantastic performance. Ritter and Colter were spot-on.

7/10.

Became very repetitive after about 5 eps. The characters in her apartment building (especially the girl) was very annoying, and each ep just seemed to be a slightly different version of the previous ep. The action was o.k but looked as though they were playing it safe; nothing really wowed me in that department. Still have an issue with the inconsistencies with her strength. They don't convey she has superhuman strength very often; she comes off as someone who is in just really good shape...

8.5/10

Just a notch below Daredevil. Damn though, kinda hard to imagine that this is from Marvel.:yuk:

I'd rank episodes 1-7 a 7/10 and 8-13 a 9/10, so I'll just split the difference and give it an 8/10. Not as good as Daredevil, but still pretty damn good.

10/10 I thought it was superb. I didn't expect to love it more than I did daredevil but I really did

Ten out of ten

This has easily been the best of the Marvel shows we've gotten so far and I'm keeping fingers crossed we get a season two like we are getting for Daredevil

7/10. Overall a good series, well-cast and mostly well-acted. Definitely had pacing issues though, felt like too little material stretched over too many eps.
