^I don't count Samuel Jackson's portrayal of Nick Fury.

Recently,Samuel Jackson was the number 1 in a list of the highest grossing actors.Frankly,I thought it was a joke.

Why the **** would you vote for something like that? Highest grossing actor would be determined by adding up the box office of all the films he's appeared in. Opinions and votes shouldn't even be a part of the process.

Does anyone know what is going on with the whole WolverineMovie on snapchat? the twitter account just posted this https://***********/WolverineMovie/status/398544370791493632/photo/1

Hugh Jackman has played Wolverine in six movies so far.He is going to play Wolverine in DOFP.

Is this a record?Has any actor played the same character more than seven times?

Soon to be 8 times :cwink:

I want Logan, Yukio and a guest appearance of an X-man (Storm or Kitty) for the Wolverine sequel. I mentioned this idea before...

Logan is attacked by special forces, which lead him(and his bodyguard, Yukio) to return to Canada to deal with remnants of a defunct Dept. H. Logan will find himself in the crosshairs of disgruntled Canadian government goons and the Canadian premiere mutant team Alpha Flight. But they all may be in danger when a third party comes a calling...Weapon X.

I'd love for Storm to be in it. She and Yukio are really good together in the comics I'd like to see their relationship developed on screen. Seeing Yukio help Storm to embrace her wilder side, that would be really cool to see.

That sounds like a great idea. So nice to hear of someone wanting Storm to get some characterisation and development. Yay!

I am not sure if it's going to happen but Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine 10 times would be great.

I can't visualise anyone else as Wolverine. The fact that he doesn't wear a mask like Dark Knight/Iron Man is going to make even tougher when someone replaces him as Wolverine

I cant help but get the feeling that we will be getting a true, Weapon X/ Team X film this time around. They can skip Logan's childhood and move straight from 1973 On. Which means Omega Red.

At this point, I'm pretty much over with Weapon X.

There's obviously more Wolverine stories out there to take as an inspiration.

I agree the Weapon X (and Wolverine backstory generally) has been done to death now.

I'd love to see Omega Red and some sort of adaptation of Alpha Flight too, but with a story not linked to Logan's past. Although they were linked to his past in the comics, it might be better to come up with a new idea to bring them into a film that's NOT to do with Wolverine's past or adamantium or healing.

However, I remember Vindicator's parents, Mr & Mrs Hudson, were the old couple who were killed in Origins, so that could be a way to bring in Alpha Flight (it was obviously their son's motorbike and jacket that Wolverine took, and that son is James Hudson aka Vindicator, leader of Alpha Flight). Whether they ever pick up on that reference is another matter, they might just see it as an Easter egg and nothing more.

Including Alpha Flight in a Wolverine movie seems like Wolverine and the X-Men all-over again, but this time, its a different group of mutants (well some of them aren't mutants) and they are less known. It will be also similar to the Origins because Wolverine was part of a mutant team in that movie.

This photo is SICK! Jackman should win some kind of award for his physical transformation for the role of Wolverine.

Edit: This is a new promo image released before the upcoming home release of this year's The Wolverine.

Still Sean Connery will always be James Bond for me(and most people)

Sean Connery also played Bond 7 times. Some will say last time didn't count since it wasn't In "Official" series.Well since they rebooted Bond none of
preCasino Royale films "Happened"

Samuel L Jackson may break Hugh jackman's record If next wolverine film Is Hugh's last since when Jackson's deal ends he will have played Nick fury In
10 films.Of course next wolverine film may not be Hugh's last turn as Wolverine:woot:

I must say that after having watched Thor: The Dark World last night, I think The Wolverine was my favorite comic book movie this year.

Mine too. Although I enjoyed Thor.

The Wolverine is my favorite CBM of 2013!

Yeah, I did enjoy Thor but it had a weird feel to it. I think because it was drastically different from the first film. I definitely need to give it a second watch.

I liked all the comic book films this year, but Wolverine was such a huge step up from the Origins film that it easily took the #1 spot for me. After that, I'm not sure how I rank IM3, MoS and Thor.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Hugh is too tall. Wolvie is 5"3' Hugh is 6"2'. Wolvie's height is a big part of his character and Hugh does not capture that.

Who cares. He nailed the role in every way. Ill take a performance over height. As Hugh gets older he looks more like him too.

Maybe if the actor they hired wasnt as handsome, the studio wouldnt have put so much focus on him on the team movies.

But since Hugh is one of the most handsome men on earth, according to many magazines, the studio and Singer felt that "pression".

But it is what it is. At least we can still hope for a First Class sequel without Wolverine again, so other characters will get a bit more screentime, and hopefully this time, young Cyclops and Jean Greay, along with Beast and Havok.

What's pression?

This has got to be the silliest thing I've read so far. Jackman is very good looking so that's why Wolverine is a big character? Come on!

It couldn't possibly be that Jackman is a phenomenal actor and Wolvie is arguably one of the most popular X-Men characters, even before this movie franchise even started.
