It's a terrible time to be a Wolverine hater. I kind of feel for them, to be honest, and I like Wolverine.

I am at point where I just ignore wolverine haters.

Good time to be X-Men fan.

I gotta say I seen most marvel and DC comic book movies that released, spiderman, captain America, iron man,Thor, xmen, batman, superman, fantastic 4, and il probably even see guardians of the galaxy but unless this wolverine 3 trailer is shockingly awesome I doubt I will be seeing it, one of my problems with the wolverine is that it felt like been there done that and I felt I was more interested in the other characters in the film then wolverine

I'm happy that we are getting a third Wolverine movie, it will be the completion to a Wolverine trilogy!

Don't remember who Spiral is but hell yes to Omega Red!!

Spiral is the most well-known henchman of Mojo and I doubt we would ever see Mojo and Mojoworld in film. Spiral has multiple arms which are wrapped with silver metals that could look similar to Omega Red's tentacles. And Spiral can teleport in the comics.

So if Omega Red is the lead villain and he should have a right hand in the movie, then Spiral would be the best choice. Spiral also uses multiple swords so she and Yukio could do sword fights in the movie.

I'm not the biggest expert when it comes to the X-Men universe, so I was wondering if someone could help me out with this.

Given the fact that Wolverine is way older than either Magneto or Professor X, shouldn't he be... I don't know... treated as such by the two? I mean despite their technical age different, Wolverine always treats the two (present day) as though they were older than him. Does this happen within the comics as well?

Maybe like his personality and "maturity"is younger than theirs in a way. Also he only remembers 15-20 years of his life, hes only a 15 year old :p

wolverine remembers nothing about his life experiences before the Adamantium process, he doesn't have all these life experiences to look back at so he probably does feel younger then xavier

I can't believe I forgot who she is. I even had a toy of her when I was growing up. Thanks for the reminder and yes, that would be great if she were a possible character in the new Wolverine film.

I am not satisfied with Wolverine ending with a trilogy.I want Wolverine to be similar to James Bond.A never ending franchise.Too bad it won't happen

Bless you marvelrobbins, this is the best quote I've read in these threads recently...:yay::up:

...and agreed, what a time to be an X-Men fan! :woot:

I think there are many other Wolverine related characters I would put in as henchmen...

...I've wanted to see Spiral since the beginning and would rather have her in the main X-Series...no Mojo of course, but maybe a member of the Brotherhood. Wasn't she in Mystique's version that eventually became Freedom Force? I always thought if they continued with First Class related sequels (now depending on DOFP), maybe we could see Mystique lead her own versions of the Brotherhood while Magneto is off on his own...

I've always thought that Professor X was more of a father figure to him, and the relationship worked as such. And he and Magneto just doesn't care.

Logan doesn't even know how old he is, so I doubt it matters to him. At least it wasn't his most pressing issue, what with the memory loss and rage problem and all.

I won't be happy because it means I have to consider X-Men Origins:Wolverine a part of the trilogy :o:oldrazz:

You don't want that masterpiece which is xmen origins wolverine? :wow:

Honestly, there are things I like about it, but....

It's like having a Rob Liefeld run in the middle of your collection.

:funny:

Bingo. **** the haters, miserable lot can look at pure awesomness and still talk crap about it.

It's gonna be real interesting seeing Logan have to mentor Xavier this time around.

I cant help but get the feeling that we will be getting a true, Weapon X/ Team X film this time around. They can skip Logan's childhood and move straight from 1973 On. Which means Omega Red.

I want Logan, Yukio and a guest appearance of an X-man (Storm or Kitty) for the Wolverine sequel. I mentioned this idea before...

Logan is attacked by special forces, which lead him(and his bodyguard, Yukio) to return to Canada to deal with remnants of a defunct Dept. H. Logan will find himself in the crosshairs of disgruntled Canadian government goons and the Canadian premiere mutant team Alpha Flight. But they all may be in danger when a third party comes a calling...Weapon X.

Hugh Jackman has played Wolverine in six movies so far.He is going to play Wolverine in DOFP.

Is this a record?Has any actor played the same character more than seven times?

Not that I can recall...

If you include the last of the Hobbit films, Ian would have played Gandalf for a total of 6 films.

And even the actors that played C-3PO and R2-D2 only played their respective roles for 6 films, max.

Robert Downey will definitely hit the lucky number 7 after he finishes filming his role for the third Avengers' film since he's played Iron Man for three solo outings, did a cameo in "The Incredible Hulk" and will have done three Avengers' films by 2020.

I think if ANYONE can match Hugh, it'd be Samuel L Jackson, who's played Nick Fury in these films (mainly cameos)

1. Iron Man
2. Iron Man 2
3. Thor
4. Captain America: The First Avenger
5. The Avengers
6. The Winter Soldier

And he'll likely reprise his role in "The Age of Ultron" and perhaps another MCU film if he's not killed off in that film.
