The character, the style, and the tone of the film will be totally different. It'll be more of an action/hero film inline with the comics and less of a David Lynch film. LOL
This will all be cleared up really soon probably by Zak or Avi.
They are NOT redoing an origin movie per my source which is reliable. They might touch on the origin through the film as they did in Blade 2 and Blade 3 in the opening credits or flashbacks but Incredible Hulk is NOT an origin movie.
