X3 is fine if viewed as the final act of one long story ... Everyone was waiting for huge Phoenix space creatures but Ratner kept the story firmly grounded in the universe Singer created.

Hulk was enjoyable but the complex and deep story held it back too much ..... The public wanted HULK SMASH .... and didn't really get it.

The others are all average to poor with SR being the worst ..... all that time and money to create a dull lifeless remake.

Whoever you are pop, you got it, rock on

I'm saying I was least disappointed with FF2 because the first one was so mediocre that I had low expectations going in. And it turned out to be okay.

On the other side of the spectrum, I had my heart cut out when I watched X3, and I literally walked out of the theater pissed and booing when I watched SR...and my feelings have stayed consistent since.

Spiderman 3 NEEDS to be up there. Im sorry that movie was IMO supposed to be the best of super hero movies ever, and it flat out sucked.

Superman Returns and Fantastic Four 2 are both really good films, IMO.
There are certain parts of The Hulk and X3 that I like, too.
Haven't seen Ghost Rider, and don't want too.

I would've liked FF2 better if I'd been completely clueless about the source material going into it, I'll admit that. But since I knew all about the Galactus story line, I was very disappointed.

Maybe I should stick to DC movies. That way I won't know what is going on so if they screw something up, I won't notice. Am I just aware of too much about the Marvel U for my own good? I hope not.

last stand killed it all and was nearly unbearable and unbearble in alot of parts.hulk viewed be a philosoper could be a great movie,viewed by a fan it was a dissopointment,to mainstream it wasnt good but its better than x3.returns,well,im not a big enough fan to comment really,i saw what shoulda been done different but it had ok effects and dialog was good and even the acting was good to great and it was better than x3.the others,ff2,i thought was fine for a family film and it wasnt terrible.gr,well i think it coverd the character ok and i didnt look for much,bad dialog,really bad in some cases but id rather watch it than x3.

I agree, X3 is the worst of the options up there IMO.

hulk's the best on that list followed closely by superman returns.

ghost rider is terrible but x3 is the worst because it could have had so much potential based on the films that spawned it

they were both pretty irritating. don't you remember the time they killed off Cyclops AND Xavier in the first 35 minutes? ...yeah, that was in X3.

SR was basically an ep of one of those silly MTv series Laguana Beach, or whatever with Superman added into the mix. :

Hulk was just a complete fan ass-****ing deilvered by Ang Lee and Universal, who were also callous enough not to even give the fans the option of using vaseline before they did it!

FF2-i didn't expect much after the first one was so meh.

X3- was the equalivalent of SM3 and Blade 3. The film makers thought they could throw us anything, because they had gotten us hooked with 2 awesome previous movies in the franchise, but just like with SM3 and Blade Trinity, they were wrong.

Never seen GR, but heard many horror stories about it, so i'll wait for it to come on cable.

I think it did flat out suck. Thats just me though. I walked out of that theater so dissapointed i was wondering how this could have happened? They had freakin VENOM and Sandman plus a new Goblin and they some how managed to make Peter go EMO and relied on the same plot line the 1st two relied on, which was "Peter and MJ are on the rocks AGAIN!". They focused more on making sure that Spidey went "darker" when in the comics it was nothing like the way they showed it, I know you change some things but you haveto respect the source material a bit. I just went in with very high hopes and left horribly hurt.

Hell's yes-obviously if this poll is any indication of actual merit. We see how this really breaks down. The Ang Lee screw job was so putrid they decided to have a do-over next year.
