Hush Returns sequel?

ok, so I got the hush series ages ago and loved it, so when I saw Hush Returns at the comic store I had to get it. I just finished and, for the most part, it was good, but wtf, 3/4 through it skips a bunch of story and then there's no end. am i missing something? is there a part 2? or anymore of it or what?

The sequel to "Hush Returns" (which was the sequel to Hush) is "Hush Forever." They're planning "Hush and Robin" after that.
If that turns bad, maybe a complete relaunch of the Hush franchise.

well the ending in my book was (warning, spoilers)








joker got his ass handed to him and walked back to his carnival from the man who laughed. then there was a page telling about how some people hush and prometheus met up with poison ivy, and a few other things, then next thing you know prometheus was running from some people, then he was in a hospital, talking of some key and hush was operating on him, talia said if prometheus dies hush dies, then hush left. that was about it.


so is there something i can buy now that resolves this? or is this an on going series, or what is the deal exactly? I would like to see this story resolved but i don't want to get wrapped up in buying monthly comics again.

The "Hush Returns" arc runs through Gotham Knights #50 - 55.The TPB collecting it includes Gotham Knights 50-55 then skips to Gotham Knights 66.
I don't know why. And the only way to resolve it is to write DC and complain because Gotham Knights ended with issue 74.

Yea. Batman hints that he did not actually have the pacemaker removed like he said he would and Hush gets all scared and angry. Joker finds them on the rooftop and is about to brawl and it ends with Hush crying out to Batman saying stuff like "NO! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME/LEAVE ME!" or something similar and to that extant.

At the end of 74, it looks like Batman is leaving Hush and the Joker to settle it on their own. Since we haven't seen Hush yet OYL (Unless its in the Man-Bat mini, not sure of the timeline on that), or the Joker for that matter( but he's in the preview for the upcoming Batman and Son arc) it's pretty muddy on what happened.

how about issues 56-65? are they worth getting?

My guess would be most people would say no. But I'm a completist, so I have them. 56, 57, and 58 are a part of War Games, The 60-65 are a poison ivy/ Hush arc, with

i actually REALLY enjoyed the story, up until they skipped 11 issues/chapters, then had no ending. i just don't get why they would put out a GN without the complete story.
