the reaosn i hate the venom idea is its just wrong. the first three movies are from the vintage canon. Venom is not. Lizard is, and they could've done some kickass things with the Lizard. i already have ideas:ninja:

Well, maybe if you weren't so set on insisting that the first three movies were form the vintage canon you wouldnt' be so upset.

Also, my favorite part?

Tobey's emo haricut.

Plus, they set up Doc Connors in the first two films. Just imagine if they had slyly mentioned Connors working with lizard DNA in the second film and have him be Lizard in the third film...

But I really don't mind Sandman as the villain anyways, stupid retcon aside :down

Why is Gwen Stacy in it anyway?

A cancer suit made by aliens?

i was thinkg more- an outer space "polymer" (entity) that scientst think has properties to cure cancer, so they fashion it into a suit, unaware that it's alive. But how would Peter Parker get ahold of it?

They could've made another Spider-man trilogy about Venom and Carnage then. Have the first film be about Spider-man getting the suit. The second film be about Spider-man fighting Venom. The third film be about Spidey and Venom fighting Carnage.

Actually, I could see them doing that now....:csad:
A Venom/Carnage trilogy would be great... but they'd probably avoid it for the same reasons they truly avoided letting Harry be THE villian this time... "too many Goblins".

Ugh.

I guarantee you they're gonna totally puss out with Harry and let the bastard live. :down

Harry as the main villain would've been a great way to cap off the trilogy. Then they could've started with the whole Venom thing afterwards. What wasted potential....:csad:

She showed nipple in the first one. I saw it.

I agree. There's no way they're not giving him a happy ending.

Why does it have to be a trilogy? can't it jsut be an onging series of films with sublots being introduced in each film and subplots ending as well?

Yeah! What's with that "You gotta put yer wife ahead of you" bull****? I hope Aunt May gets raped and murdered in this movie. I hope Gaspar Noé is guest director fot that scene.
They missed their chance now that Ock is dead. :csad:

Because trilogies are where it's at now :cmad:

i like sandman, but lizard could've been in there instead of venom, or the suit.

i always thoght one of them should start with a big fight sequence-sinister six or whoever- no explanation, just show spider-man fighting other superivllains so we know they exist, and there are lots of them.

Then you can focus on one or two of them if you want. or an unrelated new villain.

they cant hear you when theyre talking about spider-man

I know... it's the only time I can get away with stuff like that. :meow:

They should start with Spider-man fighting, like, Kraven....:o

But there aren't lots of villains. They're pretty rare, it seems.

Raimi apparently surfs the Spidey forums and sees the gillions of threads asking for Gwen and Venom. Also in Spider-Man 3, he'll figure out a way to get rid of the organic web fluid.

Especially as this cast is not gonna stay together... you could've capped this one off perfectly, and either restarted it some years down the line, or continued without having to rehash anything.

Oh god, I was just hoping you'd tell me it was in my mind. Now I have Brodie-confirmation. :csad:

Not the way they've done it. They've reached pitches and levels that have to be finalized, and everything has pointed to now. It's do or die. I prefer your way, but they're stupid.

Ew, I've heard this idea somewhere before:down Maybe it was you:down

Sounds like Ratner's X3. Just throw in random characters!
