censors block curse words when you type them here.
just because you label something doesn't mean it gets a pass when it's not allowed here

and fwiw, you wouldn't know if a mod "came after someone" unless the mod did it publicly, or the member brings it up. there are many here who can attest to the fact that i've edited posts and/or messaged them privately about stuff they've posted that isn't allowed. i tend not to infract unless its done repeatedly, ignoring warnings

I don't have problem with ban against videos with profanity, but I think posts with profanity (even if censored) should also be infracted, it seems kind of inconsistent. I think I have even seen mods use censored profanity, which is strange.

You know the jokes like - I fought the Empire on Alderaan and only got this lousy T-shirt.......well I been on the staff here for over 10 years and didn't even get the lousy T-shirt....now have to worry about getting banned for something I did years ago....****, we don't even do that to our members...we(the staff) happen to find an infractable post from years ago, we just delete in and go on our way because it is was so long ago....but these bastards are infracting staff for something that wasn't even infractable when it was posted.

I misunderstood your complaint or you didn't understand what you were complaining about....because using ***** instead of the actual letters to make a curse word is the way this site works. We do not allow UNCENSORED cursing....using **** is censoring it. That is allowed. So what exactly were you complaining about?

Oh...I thought he was saying a mod was bypassing the censors....not that they were using the censors but he still considered that a bad thing. If that's the case and he's upset at seeing the **** .....I have a couple of sites my 8 year old goes to that I can recommend for him.
