My dad just came home with $1000 for me to pick out rims for my car! WTF? I don't want him to do this!! We could use the money for much better things...and he said that when we went and visited the shop a couple months ago he started working side jobs to save up this money. I mean I really appreciate it and all...but I can't accept all that money. I don't think if I sit down and talk to him that he'll change his mind...he's to stubborn. I look so spoiled but I'm never really treated like this...I don't know what to do. Any ideas?

Yeah side jobs just for rims sounds stupid, but he's dead set on me not liking him or whatever because we're not that...close I guess and he does anything to try and make me happy I guess. =/

Just say this, "Listen, dad, if we're going to buy rims for the car...we might as well just blow the money on hookers and cocaine, because either way it's just a big waste"

Seriously, give it to charity. Like a cancer foundation. Or homeless people who can't even eat, let alone buy rims for their cars that don't exist.
