I, Frankenstein

Wouldn't be the first time Jackson did it though

Thankgod for Viggo because Townsend can't act his way out of a paper bag IMHO.

The Lovely Bones was a lousy movie though. It was lousy without Gosling and it would have been lousy with him.

Anyway so I read that Lions Gate didn't make Frankenstein and won't be losing a lot of money on it. Lions Gate will be just fine with all that Hunger Games cash.

From what I recall two Aussie studios ponied up the production costs. LGF handled marketing and distribution. Either way they're gonna lose a substantial bit, especially if home release sales are dismal since they signed on for that too.

Just saw this and yeah, its bad, the cast try their best, and a lot of them still come out with credibility, but the movie itself, wow, bad. Bad effects, bad story-telling, bad direction.

Shame as the concept of the graphic novel sounded great, they should have made this something more intimate and contained like that. The whole gargoyle/demon war just wasnt needed. They should have focused on character and story a lot more and this might have turned out okay.

4/10 and thats being generous.
