I have not liked any of Batman's onscreen love interests.

Vicki was just annoying, Chase was scatterbrained, Selina was the closest to tolerable but the way she was written was just all over the place, Julie was a ditz & Rachel was all of the above.

Neither do I. That's why I have high hope for a possible third movie, and why I expect to see Selina. If they can do to Selina, what they did to everyone else, excluding Scarecrow, I get excited thinking about it.

Chase was smoking hott thought. (Yes, with two T's)
And Selina was...yummy...

I liked Selina. Vicki was meh, Chase, Elle McPherson and Rachel where horrid. Hopefully there's no love interest at all in Untitled Batman Begins/The Dark Knight Sequel.

I doubt they'd do that. And the only one I could see is
Catwoman_010.jpg

Hopefully a more faithful portrayal.
I take back what I said. I did like one.

I think my biggest problem w/Vicki was the relationship. They went on one date-and they didn't even go out-he tapped it one time & he's ready to let her in on his most vital secret? Did he forget what she did for a living & why she came to town?

I loved Selina Kyle. A tortured angry soul. She was great. I also liked Chase, and how she helped Bruce deal with his painful childhood memories.

The rest are meh [Vicki] or awful [Rachel, Julie].

Chase was scatter-brained. A psychiatrist obsessed with a costumed vigilante, acting like a stupid little girl whenever he's around, luring him to the top of Police HQ to tell him something that everybody knows, KISSING HIM & TRYING TO MAKE A DATE IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT, and responding to a very detailed explanation of his origin with "What are you trying to tell me?" She just irritated me.
But then, I haven't liked Nicole in anything.

Vicki was average. The generic love interest. Batman's Lois Lane.
But Catwoman was genius.
Chase was horrific. How did she achieve to be a respected psychiatrist being a 30-something y.o. woman that mentally is still in her 14?
Julie was non existent.
And Rachel was.... bad. t least in TDK she had some purpose.

I agree with everything El Payaso said.

Catwoman was well done. Different from the comics but enjoyable. I liked her, but she's the only one.

I thought we were doing live action here, because I liked Andrea as well. She had the same obsessive personality as Bruce.

I don't know if you like her or not, but there is also Ra's Al Ghul's daughter Talia as a possibility;

Though to tell you the truth, I'd rather see Selina.

Let's not forget that when she found Bruce in the batcave, she apparently said that she "loved him since she first saw him" or something like that. And this was, what, only a few days?

Plus, I hated that Vicki was constantly screaming all through the movie.

I did just mean live action, honestly. The point I was trying to make was that they had to make an animated movie to give him a worthwhile woman.
And I'm crazy about Talia, honestly. I just doubt they'd ever use her.

The only good love interest was Catwoman in BR. The others were more or less terrible. Vicki was absolutely bland and meh. Chase was annoying and stupid. Julie... who is she, actually, the name doesn't ring any bells? Rachel was bad also, but she could have been better if she wasn't a love interest, but only his dearest friend. She was far more tolerable in TDK when she was with Harvey.

Julie Madison (Elle MacPherson) was the B & R love interest, who was trying to pressure Bruce into marriage.

Seriously? God, I swear, it's like I heard about this for the first time... She was probably in the movie for only a couple of minutes...

That was her main problem, I think. She barely made an impression & when she did she came off just as ditzy as her predecessors.

Selina was amazing, Chase was great as well. I'm not gonna be negative about Julie because there's nothing to be negative about really. Vicky was sort of annoying but I blame that on the Silver St. Cloud amagalmization of the characters. Rachel was a *****, but tolerable when Maggie played her.

A lot of Selina defenders. I love her on paper, & I thought Michelle gave a killer performance. But I didn't like the way she was written & she said some of the most moronic lines I've ever heard.

Edit.

I agree on all but Selina and Rachel. Ms. Kyle was the best thing about the old films, and as for Rachel? It wasn't the character I hated so much as Katie Holmes' "acting". It was bad. But with Maggie Gyllenhaal I really enjoyed it. I actually felt a little sad when she died. Something I know I wouldn't have felt with the Dawson's Crack alumni in the role.

I hate to say it but Maggie G just didnt look the part she is a tremendous actress but as Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dents love interest she just didnt fit for me she seemd more a best friend then an all consuming love interest no real chemistry at all imo.

Selina was the best the teasing relationship was perfect in Batman Returns i wasnt a massive fan of the creation of catwoman but the chemistry waas great between Keaton and Phiffer.

Despite all of this on a purely hot basis i wold vote Vicki Vale Basinger was in her prime looks wise back then.
