And how any of you are this excited for the second baffles my mind.

It's a terrible movie on every level imagineable. I feel ashamed for Marvel and every comic book fan, especially fantastic four fans, that had to watch something a third grade student could produce.

Memo to Marvel (and all comic book licences for that matter): Smarten up. You're cheapening your product and destroying the magic that encompassed your stories for decades. THINK before you produce....it's only going to hurt you long term....re: Ghost Rider.

End rant.

Umm..

You seem bitter.

"On every level imagineable".

You should try to be more constructive in your criticism however as your rant (your words) seem mindless and without any heartfelt and sincere love for the movies.

When you are so totally negative and high handed the studios tend to dismiss comments like "something a third grade student could produce" as well clueless.

And you are not just bitter and clueless right.

You're not alone. Alot of people feel FF could've been much better, but you find them in this forum. :o

FF should have been much better, i agree with the thread starter, all the ingredients were there for a great movie, but Fox ****ed it up. I do have hopes for the sequel, but the teaser didnt wow me and the same creative team are involved so i'm expecting much.

Oh and to the thread starter, negativity is illegal on the FF boards, or at least you'd think so.

Clueless is being kind.
Check out this charmer's assorted comments on the Spider-man films:

"Raimi's ideas for this franchise get dumber and dumber."

"I woudn't be surprised by any rediculous scenes in this film. The entire cast is terrible."

"SM2 was a huge disappointment to me aside from a few good action scenes."

and then, inexplicably:
"Saw SM2 Tuesday night. Very fun film."

Hardly. :whatever: But clueless, trolling negativity (i e starting a freakin' THREAD carping about the first film in the second film's forum) should be discouraged. There were plenty of more appropriate spots for this genius' spelling-disabled "rant."

Close useless thread, please.
(Or at least move it.)

go home son.

Yes if you are not willing to accept that all versions represented in comic movies are the only true interpretation of the charcters and must be herladed as greater movies than Gone With the Wind or Citizen Kane and that comic books are insignifigant as a basis for a comic book movie, then this is no place for you.

Not being any type of expert on the FF, I can't be that great of a judge on it. But knowing as little as I do, It could have been better.
