So they didn't get huge parts in this movie. Leonardo had a very strong story about the leader reuniting the band of brothers. Raph was the grumpy rebel trying to be a hero his own way. Donny and Mikey just sorta fell into the background and served more as comic relief. If a sequel was done that gave them the sort of story time the other two turtles had in the first movie, what would you want their lessons to be? For example, Leo learned that he's needed as a leader and inspiration. Raph learned to be a team player. What do Mikey and Donny need to learn?
I would say force Mikey into situations that forced him to grow up a little. He can still be Mikey, but he acts like he's ten and relies on his brothers to pick up the slack. Life can be fun, but it's not a game.
I think Donny should learn to take action more often.
