I knew batfans were obessive but come on?

"We want you to join our crusade to withdraw, for good, the character of the arch villain who killed Jason Todd and left Batgirl handicapped."

What about those of us who'd like to see on film, the Joker kill Robin or paralyze Batgirl?

**** like this is what can cause the Academy to REALLY not want to take these movies seriously.
And you don't think that Titanic didn't have nutty fangirls?

The internet just wasn't as big back then as it is now. :cwink: TDK's Oscar shortcoming was simply its genre. Same with Wall-E - Pixar and superhero films can get some semi-major nods, but never Best Director or Best Picture. If it didn't happen for either this year, it will never happen, and that's the Academy's shortcoming rather than the movie's.

This is nothing, NOTHING, compared to Twilight's obesessive fans.

Check out what one fan made (NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART OR PEOPLE NOT WANTING TO BE SPOILED ON TWILIGHT)

In the last book Bella gets preggers by her vampire BF, and because they are crossbreeding the fetus mutates and screws up Bella's womb.

One fan decided to take it upon themselves to actually make the womb. Out of felt. Complete with mutated fetus.

As usual, the fans ruin everything.

See, now I know they're nuts and annoying if you take the time to think of them too much, but really, how can they 'ruin everything'? Don't be a drama queen. If they get to you that much, just ignore them. I find it stupid, but I can see the funny side. It takes all sorts in this life.

No one's going to take a thing these 'clowns' say seriously. They aren't going to ruin anything unless you allow them to get under your skin. That's the most they can do. Either laugh it off or ignore them.

As someone who is very open about the fact they thought the ledger joker sucked i have to say this is the most ****ed up moronic **** i have ever heard in my 20 years on this earth.

I swear to god these guys are insane.

Lets take a look at Doctor Who for just one second. Now, the first 3 actors that played the dr are dead. Thats 2 more than Ledger and ALL of those actors made the character what he is today. Actors after that barely added anything to the role. Now if you stopped the longest running sci fi series in history casue the actor who played the main character, and not a bit part villian(which if we're honset is what all villains are if you accept it or not) would have been horrible. Hell they even recast the first actor after his death for an aniversay show.

Now, fans of TDK i accept that you love the film and think that nothing in cinema will ever top it but come on!! this is some ****ed up bollocks...

This is so silly. I wonder if it includes animated versions of the character? Mark Hamill gotta eat.

How silly, they probably weren't going to use the character in the next film anyway, but if these films keep going they should definitly bring in someone else to play the part. To be honest nobody's every played the joker badly imo.

Wow, bet the dude who runs the site has never read a Batman comic in his life. The Joker is not Heath's or any other actor that played or voiced him. The Joker will be re-cast someday if fans like it or not. I loved Ledger as The Joker, hell I think he did the best interpretation of him, but I wouldn't mind if Joker was re-cast in Batman 3. Nolan did a fantastic job with the last two Batman films, I would trust him with another casting of Joker. And let's not forget what most people were saying(including myself) when Ledger was casted as Jokerp ''Heath as Joker? That won't work, that's miscasting right there''.

I don't want to see him recast in the 3rd movie but if there was another 20 year break before Joker's back on the big screen, I wouldn't mind

Wha...?!?! A 20 year break then "you wouldn't mind"? Are you mad?

I tell ya, these kids these days and their reboots. In my day, a director created a universe with established characters, and that ******** was word of God. End 'a story.

As much as I liked Batman Begins, I hate how it birthed the "reboot teh series!!!!!" trend. :whatever:

I agree, it's getting out of hand. What works for one franchise may not necessarily work for another.

Stick it to da man:cmad:

Wonder if anyone will take that seriously.
Agreed. Which brings the question: between the rise of the reboot and this foolishness, has Nolan's franchise brought more trouble than it's worth?

No, because only people who go on the internet looking for this kind of stuff know about this foolishness, and waaaay more people than that went to see BB and TDK. :oldrazz:

A petition isnt necessary. Nolan's not gonna recast. I can almost guarantee it.

WOW, this is the most ******ed thing I have ever heard of on the Net, and I have seen and heard a lot of stupid stuff, but this takes the Cake.

I love The Dark Knight, I think it is the Best Movie ever made, and that Heath Legers performance has the joke has been the best one so far, so far being the key word. Would I want to see Joker in the next Batman flim, no we got other villians to do first but when they get threw those, sure bring him back, although I don't know if I really want him back in Nolan's contiuity of Batman but I wouldn't mind it either, but to get rid of Joker from all Batman flims, that's just screw up.

if they rebooted the flims again, witch you know they will, then the joker has to appear. These guys should have there Head examined, or lay of the drugs.

I left a comment on the site a few weeks back. They never let the comment stay on. Couldn't handle facts.

i love there these guys deserved it less than heath post, pure comedy
