I have no idea whose idea it was to have a Rusev segment without Lana, but they should be fired.

Rusev has kept his character momentum up a lot better than I first expected, but I guess I was totally right in that Rusev/Lana was another Fandango/Summer Rae situation (only moreso), where the valet's overness surpassed the wrestler's. I actually expected Lana to have moved on as her own character/stable leader by now, though.
