World I Miss X-men Evolution!!!!!

LOL! She didn't even have enough "screentime" to have that much of an impact.

It was pretty sad. She would only show up when it dealt Spyke,or if they needed someone to make a wind or something.:(

I liked that Episode. it showed a little of Rolo which I liked. I liked storm in evolution but she only showed up in certain scenes when the X-Men needed her most which was fine but still I liked her a lot here than movieverse. :D

I thought the episode with Captain America was one of the best!!

It certainly was... it seemed like the episode "On Angels Wings" was the turning point of the series. Almost every episode made after it was superb and the show hit its high point.

There were limitless possibilities for the series and it is a REAL shame that it didn't get a fifth season. The fact was, it was not a marketing juggernaut like Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi Oh, etc. and that is why it got cancelled.

When the show's nature tailored more towards an older audience in Seasons 3 & 4, Kids WB! dropped it and would not allow the final 12 episodes to air on ANY other network.

I am glad I bought a bootleg version of the ENTIRE series on DVD and can enjoy it at my leisure. It is really amazing the work Boyd Kirkland and crew did and it's becuz of guys like them that we can enjoy such quality animated programming:up:

they aired,they just never reaired.

Are those the episodes with Apocalypse? Those were great. Especially the last one where they showed a few things to come: Jean going Dark Phoenix, The Brotherhood working for the governement and Gambit with the X-men.

Those ones are on YouTube if you want to see them?

i loved the eps when magneto was bringing everyone to astroid M and everyone was battleing to get in and mystique and storm fight, that was one of my favorite fights on the show.

if the show wasnt cancelled psylocke and emma frost would of made appearences since the evolution counterparts were already drawn out.

So I know I'm digging this thread up...but does any one have any clue when season 4 is going to come out on DVD?! You'd think they'd want to do it around the release of the X3 DVD, seeing as how there's no other 'X-movies' coming out any time, but there's been no word on it, or has there?

He's thinking of the season 1 episodes, The Cauldron Part 1 and 2.

Well, here in the UK, only season 1 has been released on DVD and the first volume from season 2. I'm getting worried. :cmad: I hope they release the other volumes soon.

X-Men Evolution was a great show; I enjoyed it a whole lot. Why did the stop making episodes?

here is what emma and psylocke would of looked like later in the show if it kept on going. they look cool to me:hyper:

Not a massive fan of the Psylocke look. They've not quite nailed it. Love the Emma Frost one however. It would have been great to see them making appearances.

what do you mean by 'kept on making'

frost looks like she should be older than the other students but that psylocke looks very old indeed...

Would they have just skipped to the timeline the professor saw in his visions from apocalypse or would they have continued in the normal timeline.

if it is the latter, than psylocked looks out of place, i prefer the younger look mystique was using and i'm not too sure such a revealing costume would be appropriated for a youngster....

besides, the good thing about the x-men is the fact that they look like a team, especially in evolution. Psylocke doesn't look like she fits into that team look with that outfit.

I'm still wondering how X-23 can actually grow when her bones are laced with Adamantium.
going back to this point...

I read on Wikipedia that she isn't fully laced with adamantium and it is only located in the regions of her claws....

i take it her hands and feet won't grow so much so using the adamantium lacing in those locations was deemed suitable.

perhaps...

who knows....

I consider X-Men: Evolution to be one of my favorite cartoons. I was disappointed when it was cancelled because I think they could've continued it for one or two more seasons and have maintained the high quality that the show had acquired. I would really would want to see it continued in some way. Since the new cartoon seems to have a lot of the same creative team behind it, I surprised that it wont be a sequel series. If they could cut through the red tape, I would love to see Marvel produce a few DTV's.

I wish that after X-Men: Evo ended they had made a Spider-Man evolution type of show. In wake of the first or second movie, and then the new FF toon could have been the same type.

It would be nice to have a Marvel Animated Universe with proper co-existance and continuuity to it.

I recall hearing a similar idea proposed by other people about a Evo Marvel Animated Universe. I agree that it would've bee cool if they had done that.

In regards to a similar topic, I always liked the idea of having an Avengers spin-off, where the team is created by the government. Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch had already been established, unthaw Captain Amerca, and bring in Iron Man and 2-3 other characters.

I really liked how Gambit did in the Evo series despite getting little screentime(and the Cajun spice episode, but it was only made when the creators knew they were getting canceled so it doesn't count). He had a cool looking costume, good-lines, a neat modernization of the Guilds, and making him an elite merc for the badguys was a stroke of genius IMO.

I'm not a fan of her complexion though. Tanned is the way to go.

they could have been teachers like Storm, Beast and Wolverine. Or they could have been allies like Angel
