Last friday, I spent half the day watching all of X-Men evolution. LOL ... though there are episodes I've already seen a while back, but nothing wrong with watching them again. hehe. good stuff. ... too bad it ended.

so there were only three seasons sadness. I just picked up the third season and am enjoying it. Wonder what it would take to get people to think about bringing it back or maybe just making animated movies based off of it like they did with BTA.

the best of evolution rival the best of any animated marvel production, even the majority of dcau...

the problem were too many unnecessary fillers, if you cut the fat and leave all the blissful episodes, (around 12) then it's purely sublime.

future glimpses were some of the best bits....

i only wished we got more, so many things were implied, like death of wolverine, gambit joining the team at some oint and then leaving his jacket for rogue (who i believe had now gained the ability of flight) etc...

it would have been nice to see cable and bishop...

i wonder what kinda story lines would be available if they wished to progress the show further...

the last 5 minutes of the last episode were my favorite moments of the series. i remember when it ended, it was up in the air if the show would return for a fifth season or not. everyone waited and waited, then they decided to cancel production. i was so angry.

There was no implication about Logan's death,and Rogue appeared to be wearing Gambit's coat. Also,its worth noting that she wasn't wearing gloves.

well he wasn't in the line up and x23 had joined up and i wouldn't understand why the team would require people of the same abilities (although an older x23 could technically be better than wolvie). his absence in my mind is an indication of death rather than simplly being somewhere else.

interesting about the gloves thing...she did look pretty badass in that last scene, heh, maybe she just did a training session and knocked wolverine out, and that's why she had a moody look on her face and would also explain his absence.

i do have to say both nightcrawler's initial costume and future costume are his best in the marvel universe. he looked so damn cool. and wanda looked incredibly hot...reminds me of how jean looked in the last stand, probably that was there motivation...

jean's presence reminded me of what wanda might had been like. in the x-men films...

I actually never noticed he wasn't in that scene until you mentioned it,but Logan was probably just on hiatus much like he was when the show first premiered. What I found most interesting,apart from the glove thing,was that Jean was not in that scene. The show never really dealt with death(though Rogue destroying Mystique came pretty damn close),so I wouldn't expect any character to bite it in the future.
